(no subject)
1. My Spanish class starts in two weeks and I'm really excited! It is a few blocks from my house so I won't have to add any more buses to my daily commute.
2. I wore high heels on New Years Eve but carried slippers in my purse. I changed into the slippers in between bars and parties then slipped on the heels before I went inside. I think I have told people about this practise of mine already, but yes, I am a genius.
3. I recently tried to get my cowboy boots fixed but due to some "miscommunication" I ended up paying too much money to get the metal on the toe removed ( I wanted it hammered back on, not removed). To make matters worse, Sam preached at me about the bible for TWENTY MINUTES, and even tried to make me read it aloud before he'd hand me my shoes! It was raining, I needed coffee and this guy almost made me cry. Do not EVER go to Sam's shoe repair on 16th Street. Seriously.
4. I am really lucky and fortunate to have so many amazing and wonderful friends in my life.
5. I had a great vacation and I just added up my days and I have 4 weeks of vacation still in the bank. This makes me happy. As does the almond croissant I just ate from tartine.
6. Also a good friend has surgery today. Good luck, I'm thinking good thoughts!
