my parents kick ass!
so for the past two weeks my mom has supposedly been planning a surprise b-day party for courtney, come to find out that it was actually a surprise going away party for ME! so i got to come in and be surprised by all (well almost all) my friends and family after a 8 hour shift of expo looking all greasy, oh well it was so worth it!! i spent the whole afternoon chilling and eating! some friends were noticibly missing and missed (john my mom tried to call you but wrote the number down wrong!) and drumroll please: my dad bought me a new laptop!! yay!! so excited! plus now my dorm shopping is COMPLETELY done, not allowing myself to buy anything else. i love parties, they're so much fun!
so i move in four days...how scary is that? i'm thinking its going to fly by which i'm thankful for and also really worried about, i still have a TON of stuff to do! and i'm working non-stop at j.c.'s until thursday, add the stress of matt coffey coming home with his new "fiance" and the fact that i'm 90% sure they're coming to the restaurant since i ran into his mom with my uniform on and she told me she'd bring them by, because she's terrible like that! oh well, i'll keep my zen...
my new roommate seems pretty awesome from facebook and the emails we've been exchanging...i'm nervous...i really want a clean start in savannah and make some good and loyal friends that will last me a lifetime...i'm down to two right now and it's not comforting...
so i probably won't update again till sunday and by then i'll be a savannah-ian! wish me luck!!
