my mother came home today. she sounded so much better when i talked to her. she called me, not to tell me she was coming home, but to tell me that nomar got injured and had to be taken off the field in a stretcher. as a side note, she mentioned she was on her way back. she also found time to judge me for my answering machine message. which i, obviously, found fantastic. so she's still in recovery, but she's still my mother and hopefully will be out of pain soon. for now, she's back to hiding it, which means she is feeling a lot better, which is always a good thing.
