Awww...I wish I was still in school. School is so wonderful, because at least it gives you some kind of purpose - you're working towards something and even though it's hard, it's totally worth it in the end =) Glad to hear your excited about it.
And I totally feel you about the friends thing. My problem is all my good friends who I used to see almost every day back in school, they now all live pretty far away, some within traveling distance and some not so much. But I still keep in touch with them and I know that we'll see each other eventually. But it's definitely hard sometimes, especially when people are busy with their own lives. You just can't take it personally or feel too guilty about it. Trust me, I know what it's like going from having a pretty hopping social life to never seeing anyone for weeks at a time. It's definitely hard, but the best you can do is hang in there and always remember to keep in touch. I have some friends I only talk to once every few weeks. But I still talk to them! =)
