"Did anyone see you?" Danny asked, grabbing Steve's shirt and pulling him into the room, pushing him against the door and covering his mouth with a deep kiss.
"I'm a Navy SEAL and an officer of the law," Steve mumbled against Danny's continuing kisses. Steve spun them around in one fluid motion, leaving Danny suddenly shirtless, bare back pressed against the door. "I'm insulted you think someone could follow me. Though I guess now I'm a former Navy SEAL and a former officer of the law."
"Shit, Steve, that feels amazing," Danny moaned, as Steve's lips traced their way down Danny's chest. Then Danny froze, pushing Steve off. "Former?"
"You said you were going to Europe," Steve said softly, his hands resting on Danny's hips.
"And coming back," Danny sighed, running a hand through Steve's hair. "I'll always come back."
"But you could be gone for months," Steve nuzzled his way along Danny's shoulder. "And you'd be alone. The cops could chase after you, or you could get hurt..."
"I'm too good for that to happen, babe," Danny said reassuringly, resting his chin on the top of Steve's head.
"And I love you too much to let you go," Steve said, turning his head to kiss Danny on his suddenly-still lips. "So that's how I shut you up, huh? Admit I'm in love with Robin Hood?"
"I'm not Robin Hood!" Danny sputtered, and Steve laughed.
"You rob from the rich and give to the poor!" Steve exclaimed, laughing harder.
"Which means you're offering to come along with a criminal," Danny said, and both men grew serious.
"I'm offering to come along with you, Danny," Steve said softly, and he kissed him again. "Now, what's our mission?"
Danny stared at him for a moment, then his whole face softened, and he pulled Steve to him, wrapping his arms tightly around him. "I love you too, you no-longer-law-abiding giant goof. And we are going to retrieve a painting the Nazis stole, and get it back to its rightful owners."
"Well, let's get going then," Steve said, grinning broadly, and Danny grinned right back.
"Flight's not for a few hours," Danny said with a smirk, tackling Steve onto the bed.
