Womenlovefest Part 2 and 3

Sorry I missed yesterday, it was my parent's block party and I was there all day with no computer, and then I went to a book sale with them today :)

Rachel Berry:

Following in the veins of yesterday, another thing I love about Rachel is that even when you can't see the performance, just hear her voice, there is so much talent and passion and beauty and emotion.
Here are a few of her best solos to listen to:

Rachel is also way funnier than she gets credit for:

The guy did seem crazy. He charged my credit card by swiping it through his butt crack.

It tastes like pink. It tastes like pink!

Being thrown up on, it just does something to a person.

Your face tastes awesome.

I'm very specific when I give a gift. You don't know how many kittens I gave away because they just weren't right.

Why are you talking to me? Are you gonna steal something from me?I look forward to the day the paparazzi provokes me and I attack them.We need chorus glee club members, people to stand behind me with wet eyes while I sing solos.

I'm like Tinkerbell, Finn. I need applause to live.Rachel Berry is about to get musically promiscuous.

Thank you so much, it really is a pleasure. While the boys chose a selection of songs that casts an eye inward on the irresponsible life choices and sexual hunger of today's modern teens we have chosen a selection of songs that speaks of the nation as a whole during these troubling times filled with economic uncertainty and unbridled social woes, because if there's two things America needs right now, that is sunshine and optimism! Also angels.

Shannon Rutherford:

One of my favorite Shannon moments is the one where Walt gives her Vincent.

Walt: Vincent took care of me when my mom died, and nobody would talk to me. They'd pretend like nothing happened. So I'd talk to Vincent. He's a good listener. you could talk to him about Boone if you want.
Shannon: Alright. But only until you get us rescued, okay?

Not only does this show the human side under Shannon's tough shell, but this shows that someone on the island trusts Shannon with the living creature that means the absolute most to them.

Like Rachel, Shannon often doesn't get credit for her funny side. Whereas other characters are considered witty and hilarious, Shannon gets  a rep as being bitchy, when really she's being funny like everyone else, with a little biting wit.

Boone: You're never going to believe this.
Shannon: You finally learned how to tie your own shoes.
Boone: Funny. Someone at the caves built a golf course.
Shannon: Are you high?
