So I did two more wishlist wishes :)

The first is for ashdoode . She wanted a Jared Padalecki vid to "Hot Mess":

And then jacquelin825 wanted a fanfiction written for her incredibly Johnny/Veronica series, so I tried my hand at that as well (after the cut):

Know You So Well

“For the hundredth time, he jumped!” Veronica yelled, springing up out of the ball she had curled herself into. “Put his feet together and just hopped right off that roof, like a bunny, like a dark mysterious bunny with a family full of psychopaths.” Angry tears gathered in her eyes as she shoved her hair back from her eyes and advanced on Sherriff Lamb. “Clear enough for you? Can I go see him now?”

“Don’t leave town Ms. Mars,” Sheriff Lamb shot at her quickly retreating back. When she reached her car, Veronica collapsed against the driver’s seat, hands pressed against her face in a failed attempt to keep her tears back.

When she had first met Johnny Zacchara, she had never expected to see him fall. She had been nursing a chocolate milkshake on a bench at Hearst, embracing the age-old remedy to get over her breakup with Piz, when she felt someone lounge on the bench next to her. “Hello, mourning the demise of my relationship here,” she said, twisting to face the intruder.

“Here to help,” he said with a grin. He was an honest-to-God tall dark handsome stranger with a mysterious smile.

“Hello cliché,” Veronica said, and he laughed.

“You can call me Johnny,” he said with a grin, extending his hand.

“Veronica,” she said, taking his hand and shaking it.

“Can I get you another chocolate milkshake?” Johnny asked, gesturing to her plastic cup.

“How did you know?” Veronica asked, slurping down the remnants of chocolate slush.

“I always know what women want,” Johnny said with a wink.

Climbing out of her car, Veronica entered the hospital. The nurses immediately recognized her-she had been there far too many times, for her father, for Meg…They waved her past, her favorite nurse calling out “Room 412!” as she passed.

Veronica steadied herself against the room’s cold door. Now that she thought about it, she really should have seen this coming. The first time she met Johnny’s family was by accident.

Johnny and she had been taking advantage of Neptune’s weather. One chocolate ice cream cone a piece, free hands interlocked together, they had walked by the police station just in time to be almost bowled down by a dark-haired woman in a skintight red dress. The string of obscenities from her bright crimson lips was added to by Johnny’s muttered “Shit”.

The woman turned and, seeing Johnny, ran to him and threw her arms around him, separating him from Veronica. “John!” She pulled back, kissing his cheek. “Did Daddy call you too? The police have no evidence to hold him, we’ll have him out of here within the hour.” The woman grabbed Johnny’s hand and tugged him into the station, and though he rolled his eyes, he didn’t resist.

Veronica stood out on the sidewalk, alone, for exactly ten minutes before she walked away. When Johnny tapped on her window at midnight, she ignored him, rolling over and facing the wall. Within seconds she heard her window lock jimmied, and she spun around, springing out of bed.

“Oh so you can break into my house too, huh?” Veronica said, arms crossed tightly across her chest. “Up there with leaving me looking like a fool, but still less than having a father in jail!”

“Let me explain…” Johnny said softly, reaching for her, but she pulled away. “I deserve that.” Raising his hands in the air, he backed up, leaning against the wall. “Veronica, my father is Anthony Zacchara. The woman you saw today is my sister, Claudia. We-“

“Zacchara?” Veronica sat down on the bed hard, fingers clutching at the mattress. “You’re a Zacchara? As in biggest mob family to ever hit Neptune Zacchara? You told me your last name was Barash!”

“I know, and I’m sorry, but I knew if I told you who my family really was, you’d never go out with me. And I would never have gotten the chance to fall in love with you, Veronica, so please, please just give me another chance. No more lies. I promise.”

“You were right, I would never have gone out with you,” Veronica said, her words barely making it out of her tear-choked throat. “And I would have been better off for it. Leave the illegal way you came.” Crawling back onto her bed, she pulled the covers over her head, listening for the click of the window latch before she allowed herself to cry.

Veronica stared at Johnny’s pale face, made more ghostly by the hospital gown covering the body she knew so well, the one she had first seen the night he told her he loved her, the night she was brave enough to say it back. He had swept her up and carried her to the bed, while she laughed and teased that she was a feminist and he better put her down damn it, she wasn’t going to take this anymore. But the words had failed her when he slid off his shirt, and she had been lost when his fingertips grazed the bottom of her tank top, pulling it so gently over her flushed face.

The next morning he had snuck out, returning to her and the rumpled bed with breakfast sandwiches and chocolate milkshakes. Now the hospital sheets were pristine, corners tucked in, and Veronica couldn’t stop herself from stepping forward and pulling the top sheet out, sliding it over Johnny’s broad shoulders just the way he liked.

Suddenly there were fingers lightly touching hers, and Veronica looked full into Johnny’s face, his open eyes meeting hers. “Hey,” he rasped out, clutching at her hand. “Sorry, so sorry, I-“

“Ssh,” Veronica said, moving the chocolate milkshake from her hand to his lips, before bending down to kiss his forehead. “I know you what you need.”
