The Rules
Step One
# Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love an icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
# Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
# Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1.A multifandom video with my favorite shows: Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, Alias, Bones...I also love Psych, Eureka, The Pretender, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Burn Notice, and Castle.
2. Someone to write the story for one of my vids-a friend already did this for my To Love a Thief series, and I can't tell you how much joy that brought me. A vid like Me and Emily, or any of my other AU vids-to have the story for that would be amazing.
3. To have some of my favorite vidders collab on a video for me-you all know who you are, and to have two or more of you get together to make me something would be incredible.
4. Mix CDs-these would have to be electronic, since I'm not comfortable giving out my address, so if you were able to do this, you could send me the songs in the order you picked, and maybe some cover art I could print out when I burned the CD. I'm always looking for new songs to listen to, and mix CDs are one of my favorite gifts.
5. Artwork in any forms-icons, banners, backgrounds, wallpapers, anything.
6. A Chicago Bulls highlights video-not one that has already been made, but one that someone puts together brand new.
7. A new video for one of my favorite slash pairings-Lucky/Patrick, Lucky/Johnny, Jack/Sawyer, Kate/Juliet, Dean/Castiel
8. (CHANGED) A Dean/someone/Sam/someone family vid-give them kids, give them a happy family life together :)
9. Any kind of insane crossover vid, preferably a couple that has never been vidded for before. Doesn't matter if I watch either of the shows.
10. A video for any of my favorite non-romantic pairings/groups-Zoe/Jack Carter, Buffy/Giles, J2, Mark/Derek, Veronica/Wallace, Meredith/Christina, Sydney/Jared (The Pretender), Vaughn/Weiss, Van/Deaq, Sam/Dean
