Dentures repaired, work restarted. Oh, and I found a major bug in my telemetry library whereby one thing was enumerating months from zero, and the other from one. This is only really visible at the ends of some months and all through January, so it's just as well I tried now.
I had a rather good Stabcon one way and another. I actually won a game of Advanced Civilisation for once, though it was a close thing. Basically only two of us were in the running, the other four having stuffed each other up in various ways. Which one of us would have won if we had played all the way to the finish I'm not sure; I was only about 90 points ahead, and that not so hard to pull back.
One thing worth noting is that we were using a redesigned board and pieces which were gorgeous. The only problem we had was that given the space for trade cards was linear rather than the old 3x3 grid, cards kept getting put back into the wrong piles. Still, it was a feast for the eyes, and thanks very much Slev for bringing it along.
