I feel like I've not been reading much Pros lately, although I've dabbled in bits and pieces, but then this morning I randomed at CA, and I was going to post this to my lj, and then realised that I should be posting recs to ci5hq, really, so... *g*

Also a favourite. One of the very very few stories I can think of that can make me believe in our actual lads, (almost!) as we see them on screen - as opposed to a couple of lookalikes - having a brush with this side of sexuality. A great exploration of their relationship, and very well constructed.

(Like the idea of the game, but can't be sure 'cause I'm waiting for a work email that's supposed to have arrived by now (dammit) so it could get here any minute. (excuses, excuses! *g*))

Oh wow - so you don't actually see canon in lads in Prosfic when you read it?! I've got to admit that if I can't see canon lads in any way at all, then I stop reading, cos I might as well be reading original fic...

And hah - excuses, excuses... and there was me hoping for Prosfic to read with 11.30am lunch today - looks like I'll have to stick with German history after all and forget about Prosfic altogether!

I didn't express that very well - I meant one of the few that can convince me they'd have anything to do with d/s. There are quite a lot of fics that have them into d/s, bondage, bdsm .... but most of those don't seem to me to be very like them to me. (some, maybe, at a stretch. There is one I remember where it's a catharsis thing for Bodie, which works for me - followed by them heading off for a bacon buttie, iirc *g*).

The right author can convince me that the lads might experiment with bdsm etc - Kitty Fisher does, cos she's got the idea of it being a kind of catharsis in everything she writes and I can imagine either lad going that way. You might be thinking of Josey's bdsm fic - can't think of its title right now, but I liked that one too... I think writers probably have to get bdsm themselves in order to make it work though, and I'm not sure everyone does...

Yes, dom/sub - I don't really know if that's "the" term (if there is a "the" term), but I seem to see it used so ... ::shrugs::*g*

I don't know about Kitty Fisher's fics in this respect ... I seem to lose sight of the lads in there - it gets too elaborate, somehow, and I can't see them setting up something elaborate like that with a straight face. Dunno, could be just me!

So how was your work day? Mine was a bit of a washout in the end (double damn) and I didn't get nearly as much done as I thought I might - still, it could all perk up tomorrow! ::hopeful::

Oh, I'm rubbish with acronyms in general. I want people to use wooooooords! The whole things! In rows! With full stops at the end if necessary! Like Domination/Sub...jectivity? Submission! Domination/Submission! *g*

Hmmn - I can't see the lads setting up something elaborate normally, but in Fisher's fic it always seems to come from something natural, to me... Like the Venetian dildo thing - okay, the game's a set up, but they've set it up out of passion and desire rather than for intellectual interest, or to be a bit whacky, so... that words for me. *g* ETA - bugger. WorKs for me. That works for me... *g* Words apparently not so much just now...

Work... It was as usual, I spent approximately 6/7.5 hours doing my own thing... Cos otherwise, what would I have to do tomorrow? I really need a more meaningful job... Although on the other hand I a) caught up with some stuff and b) discovered that no one wants to rec me Pros fic to read... annoyingly this now means I want to read it. So I did, I re-read Alice's Getting to ( ... )
