Lost in the sea
I went in the water and swam.
One move, two, three...you were by my side.
We were going further, and even further in this bright blue sea.
The sun was burning our skin.
I giggled and you giggled with me, without any reason.
I wasn't feeling the freshness of the water anymore.
Under our feet, there was the unknown sea depth.
Our moves made the water splash.
Little drops on my face.
Once we were far away from the beach, we stopped.
We rested our arms on the air bed we brought with us.
I was looking straight in front of me and all I could see was the infinity.
Blue infinity.
Fresh air, quiet sound of waves, salty taste.
The water was glistening brightly.
We began to sing.
Any kind of songs, the ones that crossed our minds.
We sang loudly, with all our might.
Nobody else but us.
We sang and we laugh and every sound we made was being reflected on the surface.
We were free.
We didn't know where we were going. I wanted to reach the horizon.
This summer again, let's go to the sea I miss so much. Let's go together.
Let's swim endlessly, let's drown in happiness.
