Rainy night

And suddenly it rained,
While the moon was shining in a cloudless sky.
It was raining in our apartment.
From the ceiling,
One two three drops,
And then a lot.
It was cold water
And hot water sometimes
At midnight, a surprise attack!
A downpour!
But I couldn't open the umbrella
In the apartment,
It brings bad luck!
We took pail and saucepans,
And salad bowl
And we put them under every leak.
And the concert began!

I was very sleepy though
But I needed to bail out the boat!
I had water on my legs, on my arms
We won't sink!

in the saucepans and salad bowl
What should we do
With all this water?
Not a soup!
We sponged the floor
It was a cataclysm!


And then the rain stopped
Drop by drop
The silence came back
No sun, no rainbow
Only the moonlight
Through the window.

Well, the water heater of our neighbor of the top floor broke and there was a water flood in our apartment last night, and it was epic like that!
