My kittens got spayed yesterday. It's sort of a sad thing to see. We weren't allowed to feed them from 7pm on thursday evening because they went in on friday morning. We took them in that morning on our way to Copper (it was opening day up there so we went snowboarding). We got the crazy kitties back that evening. They were still quite fucked up from the drugs. They were pretty much drunk all evening. Finally around midnight they were at least able to walk around. They came and slept on my bed nearly all night. Finally this morning they got some food, they were quite tired. I'm not sure if the place we took them was a real highly reputable place. They have nearly all of their bellies shaved and the incision is quite visible. Maybe this is just normal and I'm sort of hyper-sensitive cause of how much i like the little critters. They're doing fine now, not nearly as spunky as before the surgery, but it's coming back. I miss playing with them =)
I'm actually still very happy about the election. Before i moved my ship date up to november 29 I was going to be going in on nearly precisely the same day that the new president would be inagurated. I long (but quietly) feared having my first term in the Marine Corp coincide with a Mr. Kerry first presidencial term. A few times i even pondered if I would want to enlist under that sort of 'leadership'. Now the quiet fears are relieved. Even with 1500+ reasons to vote against him the majority of Americans voted to re-elect Mr. Bush. Thank you America. The greatest part of this election is that the results completely mandate Mr. Bush's agenda foriegn and domestic. I hope that he pushes all of the things he wants to do without concern about the democrats objections. All hopes say he'll remember that the democrats are the losers, and thus not worth his time.
The vast majority of liberals, young and old, out there are depressed today. I feel your pain. As a great American president once said. You guys really should start to figure some things out though. You are losing, very badly at present. The last Democrat president to get the majority of American popular vote was JFK (John F. Kennedy). Since him you have only had 2 presidents. In 1994 you lost control in the House, in 2002 you lost the Senate. In 2004 you lost again, with Mr. Bush's re-elction and Sen. Daschle's defeat and 4 seats picked up by Republicans in the Senate and I believe the count was 7 in the House. hmmm...... Blame it on the gays.
