More and more i'm finding myself to be like A-. For the longest time I thought the intracacies of her personality and mental well being were not healthy and a creation of a less than spectacular childhood. Perhaps I was correct in that reasoning, however, if that is true about her, than it is true about me. She called me last night. Unfortunately I was on the phone with my little sister (it was her birthday (15)). Talking to her was actually really good, nice. I wish i didn't miss A-'s call though. It's not every day that she calls, in fact i think that was probably 3rd, perhaps 4th time, ever. I'll get to talk to her soon I hope, and see her in just past a week now. I am hoping the quality and quantity of time spent with her will make my visit more pleasurable for me. Needless to say I am not looking foward to being in Alabama. I hear about this petty shit going down at the old school (something to do with alchohol), and I hear the church i used to attend, and I think i still have my membership to, is splitting. The Pastor is resigning and all. Just more validity to the fact that southerners, particularly Alabamians, can't deal with people from outside their little segment of 'reality'. I still to this day would like to know what good or great thing ever came from Alabama. The most famous thing i can think of is George Wallace (the democrat governor that stood in the doorway of Alabama University trying to stop the de-segregation of the college system of the state). I guess you could say Martin Luther King, but if I recall correctly he was from mississippi or Atlanta or something like that. Correct me if I am wrong. (which is another intresting point, Mr. King was fighting for the de-segregation of all things southern yet the person fighting it the most was a DEMOCRAT governor. Yet to this day the vast majority of African Americans think that the democrats are the ones looking out for them, and Republicans are all racist bastards trying to screw them. Well time to wake up. The Democrats never were on your side, they're just using you because you let them.)

Anyways, I leave a week from Thursday. If I had bought a refundable plane ticket i would of refunded it by now.
