(no subject)
So right now, Ciel and I are watching Black Butler since I got it on DVD this past Tuesday (long eagerly awaited; I am such a fan). I do love the English voice actors, although Baldroy's accent somewhat threw me since I thought that he was supposed to be American. I'm reminded how gay this show is, and - as this is my second time through watching the series - I'm getting a bit more of the foreshadowing. I'm also getting a good idea on what Ciel will need for his Black Butler cosplay. The two rings, walking stick, and eye patch are going to be tricky to find/get; not to mention the contracted eye. And possibly modding the head to allow for the wearing of earrings (which will also need to be found).
Anyway, I went to my first meetup yesterday. It was fun, I met a number of new people, and even learned a bit more about doll ownership; like how to change out the eyes, and that the hands could be removed without having to go through the arms first. like I had thought. I also made a bit of a splash with my knitting; I might even be able to make a small bit of pocket cash through it, although I want to work out the kinks a bit more before I move on to sell/trade. Plus I do have to make that other sock. After the meet up started to break up, a bunch of us went out for Japanese, and then walked over to midtown and Kinokuniya for a bit of shopping. I didn't make it home to late.

Ciel was leaning anyway, so I had had him 'propping himself up' for a more natural look. You really have to love how they pose themselves.
