(no subject)
So back during Yaoicon I got my first ball jointed doll. Ciel is an msd size dollzone boy with a Bili (Billie?) head; he's got such pretty blue eyes and almost melancholy expression - which were exactly what drew me to him and led me to buy him even if he was the most expensive doll for sale (which might not say much given how few were for sale at the con and how much these dolls can go for). Still, I'm happy with him, and I guess that's all that matters.
So now I'm working on getting stuff for him. I managed to snag a bit of clothing for him when I got him, but sadly there wasn't all that much to be had. I've got a couple of things coming in later this month on mail order; a new wig, some clothes and a pair of shoes, and I've made/am making a few things (the blanket's slow yet steady going but such a pretty color), but there are still a few more things I need to get.
Bedding; a couple of pillows at the very least, maybe a nice blanket/quilt.
Socks; forgot to order those with the rest of the stuff.
Ninja wear; getting the mesh shirt, need everything else - the pants, the hita-ate, the shoes, wraps, pouches...
Geta; I have plans on getting at least one kimono, so I sorta need the proper footwear
Eyepatch, hat, and cane for Black Butler cosplay
New hands; the ones with articulated fingers (hopefully the fingers'll be able to fit through the sleeves of the hoodie I knitted for him; his current ones are splayed out too wide to get through)...
...not to mention I've already got my eye on a new doll; a girl one to be my Miyuki.
Oh, and here's a pic of him. He came with the pink hair, which is why I wanted/needed the new wig.
