It was late at night when Kangin reached home, and he was sure Leeteuk had fallen asleep already.
Walking into the apartment, he slowly walked towards his room within the dark house. The thoughts that he had encountered hit him like a sack of bricks, and Kangin couldn't have been more depressed than ever. Curling up into a ball, Kangin cried softly.
The door suddenly opened, and he looked up, scared and worried. But who else other than Leeteuk would have been in that house? Sure enough, it was Leeteuk. He squatted down in front of Kangin, his beautiful face immediately expressing worry and fright upon seeing the tears.
Kangin, really needing someone to be with him, cried out when Leeteuk had asked him what happened. Everything began to tumble out towards Leeteuk, all his questions and fears, his lie to Leeteuk and how horrible he had felt in his heart.
Everything.
Never did he felt so exposed infront of someone before. He wouldn't even just splutter out his secrets and fears like water in front of Yoonji too. Kangin had half expected Leeteuk to scoff at him, agreeing that he could never be with Yoonji at all.
But when two thin arms wrapped around him, Kangin's mind was cut off in shock.
“Its alright. Love overcomes anything, Kangin-ah.”
The warmth invaded Kangin's senses like fire, and he felt himself being lulling to sleep with Leeteuk's conforting words. Somehow his arms have coiled around Leeteuk's waist as well, and he couldn't help but think that Leeteuk had fitted perfectly in his arms.
The last few words he had heard echoed in his mind like a bell.
'Even if the world had abandoned you, I will still be here for you.'

The next morning went on as usual, but Kangin was grumpier than usual, seeing that his normal sleep was disrupted. But this time, determination burnt brightly in his eyes. He did his best in every exercise Leeteuk made him do, and he didn't complain whenever Leeteuk served him vegetables.
Words from Leeteuk had spurred him on, and it seemed as though all his fears are erased away.
He didn't know how many days had passed.
All he knew was to slim down, and life had been going on and on. With work, exercise and Leeteuk. There was a long poster of a muscle man right in the middle of the living room now, to encourage Kangin's will.
Time had flew past quickly, and by the time 3 weeks are over, Kangin was surprised to see his reflection in the mirror. It seemed so unlike him. He seemed more stronger now, and muscles are clearly defined even without flexing his arms.
And more importantly, his body size seemed to be less fat and or more muscles.
But its up to the weighing machine to determine if he really did slim down or not. Kangin didn't want to have false hopes at all.
“...Go on.”
Kangin looked at the weighing machine, fear obivous in his eyes. What if he didn't slim down at all? What if this was actually a dream? What if he had become fatter?! Ah this is such a bother seriously.
Oh no.
Leeteuk chuckled suddenly, breaking Kangin's thoughts. “Its alright. You've really slimmed down quite a lot. Go on.” Slowly, Kangin raised a foot, and then another, his eyes closed tight. He waited for the sigh of disappointment.
Suddenly, arms wrapped around his waist tightly and cheers of joy echoed in his ear. “You did it! Kangin-ah!! You've cut of 30 kg!!” The words seemed so unbelievable to him, and Kangin opened his eyes to confirm it.
In bold numbers, 70 stared back at him, and Kangin felt a rush of happiness and relief in him. Hugging Leeteuk back simply wasn't enough to celebrate his joy at all.
And he couldn't forget.
Leeteuk was pratically his help for..everything. Not only this. But he will certainly thank Leeteuk later. For now, it was prepareperation to meet Yoonji! Extreme rush were only available in Kangin's body now. He ran back to his room, missing the distant look Leeteuk had on his face.
“...”
Sliding down to sit on the floor, Leeteuk suddenly felt very tired.
After this, Kangin might have the possibilty of going to China with Yoonji. After all, 4 years of pain was enough, wasn't it? Yoonji will fall in love happily with him, and both of them will get married.. with chubby kids.. A hoarse laugh escaped his mouth.
“Teukie ah! What shirt do you think I should wear? But I really shouldn't ask. I look good in anything! Korea number one handsome man is back!!”
Its alright.
Its alright...
Leeteuk could throw everything for Kangin. With a smile pasted on his face, Leeteuk walked to the room Kangin was in. “What are you talking about? Korea's number one handsome man is right here!”
Later when everything was finished, Leeteuk couldn't have been more awed than he really was. Due to the change in size for Kangin, Leeteuk had asked Heechul for help to bring down Siwon's clothes. And it did fit perfectly.
Siwon too, was amazed by the sudden change in Kangin and was pleased that he had a exercising partner along with Hankyung soon. Heechul was praising the clothes on Kangin's body, ignoring the fact Kangin had muscles now.
“Won't you look at that perfect material? I was the one who chose it! It'd look more perfect with some pink here, but what do you know, Siwon wouldn't buy it.”
“Don't you notice anything besides the shirt on me?!”
“...Yeah. That awesome pants! I chose that too! Heck, everything that's awesome, its just me. I feel so bad sometimes, snatching all the fame at the birth of me, but I can't help it. Its just those handsome looks you know.”
Leeteuk looked on at the two person bickering in front of him. Normally it'd be perfectly alright, and he would even try to join in the bicker before ending it. But somehow he didn't have any energy to laugh today. How would he feel tomorrow?
Siwon had noticed this apparently, as he had walked over to pat Leeteuk on the shoulder comfortingly. “Why don't you just tell him how you feel? God will understand.” Surprised eyes met Siwon, and he only smiled widely, dimples showing.
“Everyone noticed you know. Except for that thick head there.”
Was he that obivous? And to think Leeteuk had praised himself of being an awesome sneaky master. Dammit.
“Yeah. You are. Heechul's more of a better liar and actor than you though.”
Leeteuk laughed suddenly. It wasn't his choked or forced laughter. It was real, and it felt good. Somehow to know that his friends are there for him comforted him really well.
“Come on, we can't leave both of them bickering there. Heechul will complain to me and Hankyung later.” Siwon grumbled as he randomly took a shirt on the floor to fold it. Leeteuk agreed, helping him to clear the stack of clothings on the floor.
But his mouth opened then. “Siwon ah.” The tall male turned around, eyebrows doing the response for him. “...I know what to do alright? You don't have to worry about me.” Siwon's eyes seemed to be calculative and stern, and he seemed to understand the words beneath the sentence immediately.
He opened his mouth to say something, before closing it. “..Sometimes its alright to be selfish. For once, you know.” Leeteuk shook his head. “Kangin's everything to me. Including his happiness.”
Siwon had nothing to say, and soon this topic ended silently.
