OHAI YA'LL
I'm alive.
Kind of. Maybe.
But I survived my first semester of college and made it onto the dean's list for fall sem-- who knew?! I'm more than utterly delighted with my grades (maybe minus that B, but I'll live) and happy with the classes I chose.
I feel like my absence is partly due to not feeling the insatiable urge to blog anymore, coupled with my inability to ramble-type for hours about my life. But I guess that's okay because my college life isn't interesting at all. BU lacks a lot of crazy-interesting-insane-people-like-me people, which is disheartening, since I adore being around crazy, introspective types that will have long philosophical conversations about nothing. Other than the obvious amount of too many normal people (drives me insaneeeeeeeee, i need more crazy people ಠ_ಠ), I'm content with my university.
It's just weird to have made plans to study abroad for a year in Japan and then realize that you won't be around for a year with all of your wonderful friends and school events and things like that ): And to realize that being gone for a year means that you can't take all of those cool anthro classes on Japan. A professor at BU spent years in Japan studying their cafe culture. HOW AWESOME IS THAT I WANT TO DO THAT I LOVE JAPAN'S CAFE CULTURE |8
