Thoughts on The Big Fat Lesbian Wedding. GA 7x20

All in all, the episode was decent. Some scenes felt choppy and forced. Some acting felt choppy and forced. But all in all, I didnt mind it. I am coming at this from a complete nix on the jackson and his mice storyline - was anyone interested in that?

1. ANY interaction between Arizona and her daughter would be appreciated.

2. AZ's mom was perfect and COMPLETELY UNDERUSED. Just her singular line about giving Sophia a dress drowned in roses, she stole the scene and put tonnes of personality into it. AZ's parents were perfectly cast. Also liked Callie's parents. Her dad was awesome and such a softy.

3. Disappointed that the sitting on the bed scene 'we're getting married' didnt end in a kiss or somethin somethin. I never saw a MerDer serious scene that ended in them kicking their legs and fangirl squealing.

4. Loved the Bailey Callie scene. Definitely needed. Callie hit the nail on the head and said what everybody was thinking that it was just two girls playing dress up. I loved that Bailie was like - no - dial it back. this is real and this is significant. It was a powerful message to make to all those folks against gay marriage, the fact that it is not enough to 'play dressup' and have a ceremony - it is fraking deadly serious. And it is fucking abhorrent that anyone would want to make someone fight for their right to feel valid in their own life, decisions and love.

5. Loved MArk tonight. Esp when he danced with Callie at the end and gave that lavicious laugh.

6. Callie's face looking for something borrowed: "cash" needs to be iconed right this minute.

7. Liked the cut between Calzona and merder marriage. love and legality. People with the right to marriage treat it like shit like a legal formality. People with the no rights treat it with reverence and magic moments.

8. Awkward dialogues: Mr torres randomly saying about pride. okay fine, hit us over a bat with it , script. Mr torres is hip wit the gays. The scene where calzona is sat on a couch and mr torres is apologising for mrs torres and callie tells him to go, felt truthful only due to the emotion of the actors. if not for their performance it kind felt like. everyone sit on a couch, now go! and Callie patting AZ's hand at the end was like righti-ho and jarred with the softness of the moment.

9: Awkward scenes: AZ's breakdown to mark over her brother. i thought it was important and sweet, but it was like again on of those scenes where they were like - go! sad, cry, resolution, scene.

10. As always, please just give 5 minutes to Calzona - them together, having fun doing anything besides talking about other people or their drama. I just wanna see one couple-y arm around a shoulder or lingering peck hello/goodbye.

LET AZ TOUCH THE BABY ALREADY. I KNOW ITS TOO FUCKING CUTE ALREADY, BUT I PROMISE NOT TO EXPLODE IF THEY ARE IN THE SAME FRAME.
If Callie and AZ dont introduce each other as their wife or mention 'my wife' next episode i will cry the tears of a million emos.
