Ho hum..
Whee yay, more catching up to do becuase i'm too lazy to update this constantly T-T.
- I realized I never mentioned it, but my Grandma did pass away on the 29th of December, the day after my mom visited her. Though my grandma and I weren't especially close, I just feel bad for my mom and my aunts and grandpa
-The One Acts turned out fairly well! My play was the most behind until the last rehearsal...we really stepped up and i got many compliments from people telling me that my play was the best one ^-^
-I had a Presidential Scholarship (full tuition) competition at Mount Union on the 3rd -- I'm not so sure i'll get the full tuition, but I hope i'll get one of the $10,000 trustee scholarships...if not, i'll still get the original $8,500 they offered me on application. One of my interviewers was into Japanese stuff, so she talked to me about anime and music and all kinds of stuff. She really made me more comfortable ^-^. In fact, she sent me 2 CDs of Japanese music in the mail the other day and i was like "wow...she's so thoughtful." That's what I love about MUC...the staff there is just sooo nice!
-I had a scholarship audition for music today at MUC. I was freaking out about 2 days ago and I actually cried at my rehearsal with my accompanist...everything was just so overwhelming and i just wasn't ready. I prayed about the whole thing extensively though...and even though many of you who read this aren't christian and probably think it's just coincidence and me just boosting up my confidence by having faith in myself rather than a God, I began to play better immediately. The judges today seemed impressed so i hope i did well! This scholarship can be worth up to half tuition I believe, so here's hoping! *crosses fingers*
-I met a new girl at school in band :3. I've never really talked to new people before, mostly because i'm too afraid to do it, but i gathered up the courage and talked to her....good thing too because we're very much alike! We even stand the same way for the same reason (pigeon-footed because japanese people look really cute standing that way and we like the way it looks)! I think our official song is that Heaven song from DDR...you know: "Baby you're all that I want....when you're lyin' here in my aarrms. I'm findin' it hard to belieeve, we're in heaveeeen" and we were dancing to it and to some weird chinese techno song in Mr. C's office the other day *giggle*
-I talked to Kirstie on AIM today...i haven't talked to her in a long time so it was nice ^-^.
-Things with Bryan are going well I suppose...he moves a little faster than me and is more open to talking about certain things than I am so every now and then I feel a little strange...and lately we just don't seem to have much in common, but i'm hoping everything will work itself out x.x;
