So I'm officially out of classes as of last.. Tuesday. I'm working on a 5 page paper for my Anime History class right now though. I have until the rest of the day to finish it and I'm on page three, so I should be good... even with all the procrastination. I have a few smaller late assignments I need to get done too.. but it's no biggie >_>
Nearly a month until Christmas! Can you believe it! I still need to do some shopping D: I'm going to end up spending more than I want to since I'm trying to buy for a few more people than usual... but I feel bad for accepting awesome gifts and not giving anything in return... so I'm trying to give back this Christmas D:
Mom: Got her snowmen soap dispensers but I'll probably get her something else too.
Dad: A Cubs pen or a silicon case thing for the iPod Touch I let him have.
Neener: Most likely a giftcard to a clothing store she likes. Maaaaybe Epic Mickey :T
Haley: Probably a DVD of some sort. Maybe clothes.
Lucien: Got this all taken care of. Wut.
Matt: I doubt he checks LJ lately, but I shouldn't give away any ideas I may have just in case D: Not that I have any anyway DX
Laura: She's on my LJ too and I think she checks periodically so I can't say anything for sure :P
Adam: Starbucks giftcard. From one animator to another, haha.
I want to get stuff for Victoria and Christina too, but I barely hang out with them lately so I feel completely out of touch with them now ): Friend fail.
Despite the shopping stress (Because I just want to buy things for myself waaaah) I have a Lucien to look forward to in a little more than a weeeeek. He's staying at my house for a whole week :O I don't have friends, much less a boyfriend, at my house very often so I'm afraid of being a bad host or just being boring in general :I
And this will be his first time meeting my family in person. My sisters have already taken a liking to him.. and I'm pretty sure mom likes him so far too. Just not sure about dad :D; And I'm daddy's first born girl so it's like "OHHHH NOOOOOOOOO" for him, I'm sure.
I'm hoping to keep him away from non-immediate family though :T The Mexican side can be pretty judgemental... and I'm not ready for all the snide comments that might potentially be made when it's out in the open that I have a long-distance boyfriend. I think most of them know by now... but still.
