I auditioned for a video game today.

It almost didn't happen because I had no way of getting there, but Lucas insisted I go and since he was the one who e-mailed me about it in the first place.. he was nice enough to pick me up and take me over there with him.

Unfortunately I can't say I did very well. I let my nerves get the best of me and I was standing there, shaking a bit as I spoke. I read through the lines too fast in the beginning and I don't think I got too much slower when the director had asked me to slow down and enunciate a little more. Not to mention the character required a Hispanic accent, which I have no real experience with so stumbling over words was imminent lol

I'm proud of myself for doing it though. Nothing came out of it for me, but apparently it was a toss up between Lucas and another guy for the male characters and it turns out the other guy got it.. but Lucas is on their audition list now and they want him to record an audio book sometime. Good for him.

And before you ask; no, I don't know what game it was for.
