(no subject)
It took about 3 weeks, but I finally got that wallet I bought from Ebay. Silly shipping from China. But hey, it only cost me like $6. Considering it actually got to me, I'm not really complaining.
Mainly, I wanted a new wallet because the one I've been using is pretty old. It USED to have a picture of Sora from Kingdom Hearts on it, but that's been gradually fading away. I was also looking into a new wallet because I felt like my old wallet was too big... thinking about it now, getting a 'clutch wallet' -- or whatever the hell these things are called -- wasn't the best remedy for that, haha. Oh well. I think this one is cute. And it's orange, my favorite color. I'm just hoping it doesn't get any wider when I start putting stuff in it... it shouldn't, I think.
Oh, and if you haven't seen them already.. these are the slippers Lucien got me for My birthday/Valentine's Day. They're aptly named Slip and Purr, thanks to Lucien :P
Guh. They're so cute.
These are my two latest figure drawings. I feel like I've been getting a lot better, which makes me extremely happy since I can tend to be a perfectionist about these things and it frustrates the hell out of me at times.
Since it was our 'first day' of actual figure drawing, my professor actually started grading out stuff yesterday (Eight weeks into the quarter. Go figure). Based off the first piece there, he gave me an A for effort and determination... and mostly C for whatever else he had on the paper. While he was explaining what I could improve on, he changed on of the C's to a B.. but aaaugh. That kind of put me in a bad place. I know he means well and he's just trying to get us motivated to reach perfection... but come on.. @_@ If I get any lower than a B in that class, I'm going to cry forever.
On a higher note, I believe my flight to New York is being bought today (: I'm leaving a few hours after I take my last final on March 18th and I'll be in New York until the 29th.. which is when I actually start classes.. but missing the first day isn't going to kill me.
