(no subject)
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... well, I'm registered fro the Voice Acting section of AX Idol.
I'm still pretty iffy on what I'm doing as far as a monologue goes, but I've been looking at this Haruko one for the longest time so I just stuck that in the registration form until I have a solid decision.
Native girl must stop! Taro-kun just hit his head so you can't move him yet, understand? *GASP* He's dead! This young boy is completely dead just as Taro would beeeee!! AAUUUGH I KILLED HIM. I finally find the S.O.B and I killed him! I didn't mean to, it was an accident.. kinda. Aah, let's face it. I definitely TOTALLY killed him! Just like that! BANG! No.. more like BONK. Or BLAM. Or KUNK. SPLAAAT.
I might just cut the beginning part and go straight into the "*gasp*" if I go with that.. but I dunno.
Kira burnout_girl (2007 AX Idol winner and a VAA buddy of mine, for those who don't know) suggested I might have an edge over the rest of the girl contestants if I did a monologue with a boy voice.. but I'd be worried of cracking and stuff like that from being nervous. Plus everything I've practiced so far just sounds forced from being so out of practice ):
As for the nervous thing.. I've gotten better about it. At Lucas' panel at ACen I wasn't nearly as nervous as I was for the Otakon one. Not the mention the mere THOUGHT of me going to AX and entering AX Idol used to cause me to shake involuntarily (Yeah, 'wtf?'. I know.).. but I'm mostly okay with it now. Not to say I'm not nervous about it and who know how I'll be when the time comes to audition in front of the pros and all of those people in the room.. but I have to do this to at least say I tried.
A little more than a month away now..
P.S. I want to go to the Maid Cafe soooo baaaaad. Someone go with me ;A;
