Movie day

Woke up at six and typed up more of the X-Day script until about nine thirty. I got ready, but then had the problem of where to print the nintey pages (three copies of the thirty page script). I got a "where are you" call from Christina, who was already at the school with Lauren and Alex, so I kicked it into high gear. Miles and I picked up Merika and then dropped off Miles at library with twelve dollars to print. We got to the school, where we met Mike Meaden, Lauren, Alex, Christina, Nikki, and Aimee. We called Tina and Mike for a while and then went inside. Filming went a little slowly, but we had a lot of fun! I was so happy to get the scenes done that we did. One really funny part was when Nikki touched Miles' face and said "I'm always watching you". It was so creepy! We tried to get all of the scenes with Rika's friends in them done because Tina was going to be gone for a month. I realized that we had forgotten about a scene, after Tina left, but we can work around that. We went out to lunch at Panera and I had a oriental chicken salad, which was alright, but a little gross. We finished filming at around 3:45. We had so much fun!

Aferward, Aimee and I went to my house and I changed. We checked movie times and then went to her house, so she could change. We left around five and saw the 5:30 showing of *theme music* "SHARK BOY AND LAVAL GIRL!"
It was in 3D! It was pretty crappy, actually. The guy who sold us our tickets asked, "do you really want to see that?". It was good fun anyway. I mean, we knew it was going to be cheesy (and INCREDIBLY pun-filled). Aimee and my favorite was the little girl (George Lopez's daughter) who had the crystal heart that could freeze anything...even time! Puns in the movie would be something like, "You're all wet, Shark Boy" or "Don't get all steamed up, Lava Girl". George Lopez was pretty crazy, though. He played the teacher, Mr.Electricidad and the villain, Mr.Electricity, who was just George Lopez's head in a giant orb with a glass front. Oh, and he had electric arms with little metal hands a feet. 'Twas weird!

After the movie, Aimee and I went to Harners and split an enchilada, though Aimee wasn't that hungry. We bugged Miles to drink the vanilla coffee flavoring because it tasted like liquid Lucky Charms marshmallows. Annie was our waitress, but she was busy, so I didn't get to talk with her much. After dinner, Aimee and I walked to Moves and Aimee said hi to some people she knew. The tap dancing was pretty intense! We were going to go to the park, but then Aimee got a call that I had to go to my Dad's house. We went directly home, but when I got over to my Dad's, I wasn't in trouble. I did feel irresponsible for forgetting, though. I mean, I've been going over there for seven years now, I should be able to remember.

movie, x-day
