(no subject)
I'm feeling quite accomplished at the moment. School isn't going too badly, for one. I actually fully understand what we're doing in Mathematics, for the first time in what seems like two years and I'm really feeling that getting a 7 in P.E. is doable. I've been making an effort. I hate Track and Field and yet I didn't stop once on the running track, and I don't mean 'Not ONCE!' like 50 other people said who I saw walking, I actually mean I didn't. They can't say I didn't try!
Other things that make me happy:
1) The thunderstorm we drove past on my way home. We drove through a cloud burst and there were these huge black rolling clouds and the flat grey sky and the flashes of lightning..and it was so..Irish. It's probably why I'll end up living in Ireland, love the weather there.
2) My sister's coming tomorrow. Haven't seen her in eight months or so.
3) I got the Silver Mt. Zion tickets. So that's done and done and I'm very excited.
4) Best Piece of Work/shit writing exercise (whichever you want to call it) is also 'done and done'.
But seriously..the BPoW annoyed me. How can they give you regulations for YOUR best piece of work? It's absolutely, 100%, entirely subjective and I don't give a fuck if my best piece of work isn't graded, because that's the point: it still is MY best piece of work.
Mrs Lascny-Jones: "Your best piece of work can't not be graded."
Me: "Uh..yes it can!?"
However, I've still gotta sort out my lunchcard and the Frequency tickets. *fret* And my IB Choices sheet and my Spanish project *voice trails off* and my room..gotta clean that before Izzy gets here oh! and I've gotta buy her a present and my Spotlight articles need finishing..yeah.. *text gets smaller* *rapidly* *now*
