Well the first week back has been surprisingly stressful (stressy). It was all receiving results and starting new topics and wondering wtf to do with the worst director in the world who doesn't understand that the play is showing in three weeks! It's also decided to get cold again and snow. Over 1 foot now and rising.

This weekend sucked, another terrible anti-climax. I was forced, FORCED to go to Lara's birthday. I didn't want to go but in the end I thought.."Why not? It might actually be fun." Oh boy was I wrong. First of all we get to her house, cold and starving. She let us in and we started watching The Wedding Crashers and fast-forwarded to the parts with the emo guy in them. So then Lara and Avijit started playing Nintendo and everyone sort of wandered off and talked to whoever they could. The house bit of the party wasn't actually half bad, I enjoyed it. But then Lara started motioning for me to do my make-up and hair. They were quite obviously whispering and wondering wtf to do with me. So then she attacks me with hairspray, I actually felt the need to shield myself. It was meant to remove the frizz from my hair but all it did was make it frizzier. Even when I told her I don't like using products other than shampoo and conditioner in my hair, she persisted. Anyway then they took hours getting ready, squeezing themselves into their miniskirts and boots (pirate stripper boots anyone?). Eventually it was time to leave and the boys all took a taxi and then the girls were all meant to themselves. Unfortunately there were six girls and a rule of only four to a taxi. So Sofie and I offer to take one alone, but we don't know the address of Empire..we ask and no one of the four girls who all know where Empire is will go with us. We stormed off and eventually saw Rita, Katie and Spina waiting for a tram and invited them in the taxi. But still. Then when at Schwedenplatz everybody went to Richy's. The worst shit-hole in history. Then they all went to Empire and Lara, Alina and (yes, I know) BIANCA went in ahead of Oli, Sofie and I. We were literally just left standing there in the crowd. Bianca came out and shouted "Ohli, Sohfie..(no mention of my name)" and we were let in. I should mention that I'd publically stated that I didn't want to go beforehand and promptly got shouted at by everyone. Thing is I had to go if Sofie wanted to, and she did so.. I knew we'd only spend 15 minutes tops in there and I knew entry was 10 Euros so I was not optimistic. And that's exactly what happened, we went in, paid 10 Euros for entry and another 1 for jacket drop-off to stay dancing with the 50 other VIS students there and then have the jacket people lose my jacket before having to run home. Then I had major 'watermelons' at Sofie's house and couldn't sleep very well. Though that could have something to do with Sofie taking the nice mattress (*glare*).

Saturday we watched Klimt and got to see Nadiv and Ilan in their 'Viennese Schoolboy' roles. *imitates high voice* "If I don't take it home with me I'll get a hiding". The movie wasn't bad, it dragged in some parts but pleasantly surreal. They chose a good Schiele (Schiele...SCHIELE *removes nurses outfit*) but unfortunately Malkovich couldn't imitate a German accent well. Instead it was an American drawl. Still..good.

The aftermath of Saturday was my mum getting really mad at me, forcing me to take a taxi and pay for it (normally she picks me up) and telling me I can't sleep over at Sofie's until these problems are sorted. But here's the bad bit: she said she's inform Sofie's parents. I was like "SHIT!" because Sofie was meant to be going to orchestra that day and instead she went to see the movie..basically she cheated and lied and if my mother told her parents she'd get in some deep shit. I think I've managed to sort the problem but still..scary moment there.

I realise I've been rambling and that no one actually cares about my weekend.
