i love doing canned peaches (here i would call them preserved peaches). So you do yours in syrup or just neat?

I made a simple syrup cause that what's teh internets told me to do =) I didn't use as much sugar as they said though.

i do mine sugar free as my MIL is diabetic. They still keep for years even with out the added sugar. I just use water that is just off the boil for mine. seems to work nicely :)

Nice - I'll have to try that next time. I try and avoid adding sugar when at all possible, just cause too much sugar makes me a crankypants =P

Well i figure if people want it sweeter, they can always add the sugar afterwards, but it's darn hard to take it out once its in there :)
