The video card apparently went out on my computer a couple of days ago. I'd done some fiddling, bathed it in alcohol, etc.. before giving up. Then today on a whim I tried putting it in again... worked fine.

My local newspaper, the Bakersfield Californian, has a job section (of course). In it they divide the jobs up into several categories: General Office, Hospitality.. you know the deal. And then there's one category called 'top jobs', where, by my estimation, about 3 out of 5 employers all request their jobs be put... and the fourth out of five puts all his jobs in 'general', rendering the whole categorization scheme meaningless. Well, maybe not completely. The truly smart employer uses the actually category where his job stands out, since all of the dumb, lazy employers are using those other two categories.

If you're thinking of signing up for Blockbuster Online or Netflix, use this referral site link, and sign up for Netflix/Blockbuster as your offer. A few more people sign up, and I can get a free Xbox 360. If you're feeling lucky, you can try to sign on eight other people as well.
