My good mood has been shot to hell.

Jericho has been freaking cancelled. Again. I'm seriously pissed off. I'm so sick of all the pointless, shitty reality shows and tired, recycled crime dramas that pass as good TV these days. Then finally a good, quality, original show like Jericho come along that actually has an interesting storyline, good actors, and great production values, and it gets screwed with hardly any advertising except the occasional commercial on it's own network. No wonder not too many people were watching it; CBS kept it under the radar just enough that nobody knew it was there! It had one of the most loyal followings I've ever seen, though. I know because there were at least four other coworkers of mine at McDonalds who watched it every single Tuesday night, and we all discussed it the next day at work. I always watch it with my Mom and Dad, both of whom are also avid fans of the show, and my sister just started watching the first season on DVD.

I just don't understand this. I guess it's just not possible these days to have quality programming. People would much rather watch shit like Big Brother and Survivor.
