so things have quietened down now, a lot more staying at home, playing this really fun playstation game hahaha and basically just doing nothing
we stayed in bangkok last week for 3 days and 2 nights. the first night we went to this famous street, hmmm its like were all the tourists go, IT SO REMINDS ME OF SCHOOLIES i rekon u guys would love it, the streets were just packed with pubs and clubs. and it was A LOT more expensive than chon buri where i live, they upped the prices so much coz of tourist, if i go to a bar in chon buri cocktail prob $2 or $3 in bangkok like $8 or $9. hahaha and the food and everythigns much dearer. and there were so many white people, it was just like all these countries mixed together.
we stayed in our first hotel in bangkok not near the tourist areas hahah and hotel in thailand i thinks only used to get your groove on do the wild thing under the savanah boom boom bang bang if u get what i mean hahah. pretty cheap though we stayed $20 for the night, hahah i think it just must ogf been the hotel we chose but my gosh haha. I think becauswe we think OMG so cheap were spending our money quite a bit. its dissapearing before us haha. the next day we went around bangkok. i went on the sky train. WHICH IS REALLY REALLY CROWDED. bangkok is so much fun!!!! theres GOOD SHOPPING EVERYWHERE! and theres all this places to go, the shopping centres are huge and then outside the shopping centres are huge markets its never ending. we went to this other famous market in bangkok and there was this GIANT ferris wheel bigger than any ive seen, and i was scared shitless. ek yelled at me coz he couldnt get a photo coz i was freaking out. hahaha. we met up with eks friend o, we went to some more pubs and clubs not directly in bangkok, and they were so much better. just on the outskirts of the main city, very classy. we went to thir rich bar only rich people go, so the drink were as high or higher than in australia!!!! a lot of the places though are sit down and talk places which i hate going to with ek and his friends! IM basically ignored the whole night. theres been a few nights ive had the grumpy pants on with ek coz i juz sit there for hours!!!!!
we went to eks grandparents grave on the sunday just passed. its like a celebration. this is chinese style coz its on eks dad side. so everyone uncles aunties cousin come to the grave and have a big feast. you have to pray 3 times before you can eat and you decorate the grave with big ribbons and confetti. they then have fire crackers go off and you all eat together. eks aunties and uncles are very nice there funny too, like to make fun aswell.
so were trying to plan the wedding now too. in thai tradition we cant make a day, we have to go to like a monk i think or something like that and ask what day we should get married on. eks mom said august was not a lucky month and we should get married on a sunday? hahaha, its quite hard trying to mix the cultures together, we have thai trradition chinese tradition and white tradition. were thinking of combining it all together. they were think about having thai cereemony in the morning, where monks visit the house and bless us or something, then something chinese and the the whit cremony in the evebning. which means i need 2 dresses. i need a traditional thai dress and a white dress. but everything conflicting a bit, asian style have no bridesmaid or vows or anything white style is, and at reception eks family said people dont DANCE!! i said OH NO NON O theres dancing at my wedding! we dont even know how to start planning it, so were not worrying about it too much yet.
and the most IMPORTANT NEWS OF ALL i have the most gigantic bruise on my leg, and im worried i got smoe kind of sickness ek thinks im overreacting but ITS HUGE with purple dots in it and i dont even know where it came from!!!!maybe ill take a pictrure if ur lucky haha.well that it for now
