I believe that literacy is some kind of text that has to have some type of deeper meaning to it. It makes the reader or the audience really has to think about what some is trying to say. My example is the book Frankenstein. When you think about it it’s a very sad story. Ok so victor created this monster and after he realize how ugly and weird he looks he calls it a monster and disowns it. All the monster really wants is be wanted by his creator and the rest of the world. In a way he just wanted someone to love. The monster didn’t want to be alone he wanted to be loved like he say people around him. He also realized that his creator had a family that he cared for. Close to the end of the book the monster ask Frankenstein if he can build him a female companion. He created her and then killed her. So in the end the monsters killed the one woman that Frankenstein loved. It is a very tragic story it makes you think. Would you help the monster? None would ever want to be alone and have none to talk to and every time you try and talk to someone they run away from you because you look hideous. I would try my hardest to help the monster because like the saying “Never judge a book by its cover”. I believe that if he would have just helped the monster he wouldn’t of acted the way he did.
