OH EM GEE this is the latest I have been awake for a long time. This is entirely due to a little thing I have discovered called weffriddles. Dear god please be careful with that link. It will make you stay awake till 4:26am.

I had uber spyware today on my pc at home today - Wait a second, ugh, red underlines in my livejournal entry. Filthy red bastards.. argh, they are everywhere! Anyway, I had uber spyware. It did the following:
* Disabled Task Manager
* Disabled Command Prompt
* Froze my desktop - requiring a PC restart to fix.

Ok, so some nasty shit is going on, but I think I'll just restart and see what happens right? An extremely authentic looking message comes up from Microsoft saying that the activation code from my version of windows has been reused on another machine - and that I will need to validate my service to use windows. Thats highly possible, since my version of Windows is totally illegal. So I think, damm, some new Genuine Advantage bullshit, I'm screwed, time for reformat again. I clicked the "no thanks, later please" button, and it restarted the PC - as you might expect.

On restart I click the "Ok submit details now thx", and up pops this nice credit card form to fill out - with a message saying "Your credit card is only used for authentication and will NOT be billed." Looked SO dammed authentic.. you would have to be very on the ball to catch it. I noticed that they had a "PIN number" field on this form.. most unusual huh? So I become suspicious. And type bullshit into all the fields and get 20 seconds of "Validating". If it was legit, I would have been hosed right there. However, "Thank you, your system has been validated", and I was returned to the desktop. Damm clever bastards! I bet so many people have have been gotten by that.

Bedtime right away now - seriously! Gnite all

Current Food: Pizza Toasted Sandwich. Made a particularly good one this morning for lunch :D
