"Are we playing horse-shoes honey? No I dont think we are"
Hello all, and welcome back to the wonder and mystery that is my livejournal.
* nesselle has finished university forever! Much celebration, its good to see her a little more cruisy and relaxed again. She has been up visiting friends in Brisbane for the past week. Will be back tomorrow night. Conviniently, shadowrun is off :P.
* Had dinner at Candice and Fluffy's place. Was good to see them, and others, again. Candice cooked something I've never had before, which was nice, but I've forgotten everything about it. It was a bit like the offspring of a sausage and a breadroll. Oh we watched "My Name is Earl" which is definately a quality show.
* Australian Idol over! Horray! No more will I be forced to watch it over the dinner table. No offence to those who watch it of course, but its something I can't stand. Belive it or not they are now showing American Idol. Oh, and my brother is hooked onto some bizzare ultra-american dance reality tv show.
* Having much fun watching the Ashes with guys at work. We have a pommy who has just started working with us, much ribbing flying across the office.
* Weird Al's new album kicks butt. Love the drive through one. I downloaded it too, ironically enough. Will have to buy it at some point - I try to now that I can afford things.
* I want to mod an Xbox. Have been reading up, doesn't seem that hard. It's interesting all the things people out there have done with theirs. A guy at work has his continually saving digital TV to his computer. Clever much? I don't know what I'd ever record thought, unless I needed something to torture myself with. I was going to write "torture my family with" but I realised that it would be counter productive.
* The Kingdom of Loathing has brillient new content from the imminent Crimbo. Brillient game.
* My ex Bianca is engaged. I went to the engagement party, since we are nice to each other again now. Suprised to find that I had a few people to talk to - friends of Bianca's that I made when I was going out with her. But I won't lie, it was a weird night. I'm glad that she is happy. I also found out that she still occationally reads this :P. Lucky I haven't been saying nasty things about her on here :P.
* Hog Housecooling party was awesome. Huge surprise for all, gibber is back! Great seeing everyone again. Am certinaly missing SCA people. Still haven't been able to find the time to drop in to gathering, which I am sorry about. One day soon.
* Still writing novel. Realised that everything I wrote up until I posted last time was written in current tense. Ugh, an idiot is me! A few other little things I'm not happy with either. Josh gave me some compliments, so I feel good about things. All I need now is to find the time to write it.
* Went to an old school mate's housecooling last friday. Being the small world that it is, this friend is in quite a few of Vanessa's classes, and so some of her friends were there too. It was a P theme (ie come dressed as something starting with P), and so I dressed in mostly green and said i was Patty, and spoke with an Irish accent. Got old pretty quickly trust me. Wasn't a bad night thought. Was complete with ambulence for the over-inebriated and nude streaking.
Geez, this has been an appalingly boring entry. *Yawn* too tired to care just at the moment. Gnite :)
