(no subject)
Just a quick post (haha, yeah right). I've been feeling utterly crap lately, I've had a god-dammed awful flu for the past seven days or so. But today is the first day I think I've felt back to my old self. When I got home from work I was feeling so good I even went for a jog. I have a new improved route now that doesn't involve running accross so many nasty slopes. When I got home I threw the dumbells around a bit, and so now I feel great.
I actually took two sick days, which was jolly nice. So I spent the time playing Diablo with Josh, Finishing Day Of The Tenticle, and drawing chairs. My old yr 5 teacher told me it was something to do if you wanted to become good at sketching draw a chair every day. A different one of course. Keep all the old ones and observe your progress kind of thing. Sounds good to me. So far I've drawn one chair, and its a fairly nasty mess, so at least there is lots of room for improvement. I also spent some time moving my story plan out of this novel planner thing into text pad files since the thing was shitting me.
Had baked dinner tonight since its Wednesday. I was missing out since I used to go to roleplay on Wednesdays. Now since its moved to Tuesdays its back to two baked dinners a week :D. That will be great for my arteries I'm sure.
It was my birthday on Saturday, my 24th. I was in Barry White mode, which was a nice way to do things. Went to roleplay where we celebrated Pie Week. Then out for dinner to Phoenix with Vanessa and the family. Awsome resturant there, except when you are sick and everything tastes like Lego tires. Sunday me and Vanessa layed in till late enjoying the rain. Then I went and nerded it up at the computer fair and did a few odds and ends. Saw Lana and Jason for the 1st time in bloody ages. Then in the afternoon all the Yelds clan came back to my place for a massive afternoon BBQ. Got to play with Damon lots, which was pretty exhausting given I was unwell. For my birthday I got a nice shiny watch from Mum and Dad which I haven't had for ages and I really love. Vanessa bought me a snazzy belt and some Kath and Kim DVDs. Josh got me all three seasons of Black Books. So it was a nice cruisy birthday, which was nice given all the crazyness of late. Now all the rello's have gone away to their respective countries of residence things should quieten down a little. It has been very exhausting lately.
Thats it I think. I'm going to install Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Atlantis. Probably go Fists this time, since I haven't done it on that one. Gnite all.
