Well, so far, the summer is going very well for me.
I started Final Fantasy 9 tonight, and it is awesome so far, better than I remembered it. Finishing this game is one of my goals for this summer.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion makes me want to buy an XBOX 360 really bad with money I do not have.
Tonight the Celtics made a great deal by trading their draft choice and Raef's awful contract for Portland's Sebastian Telfair, a deal which I believe will work out very good for the C's.
My summer reading list is as follows:
Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury (done)
The Brains Trust - R.G. Tugwell (story of F.D.R.'s nomination/campaign)(done)
High Fidelity - Nick Hornsby (done)
Young Patriots - (Hamilton and Madison's role in the Constitutional Convention) (3/4 done)
Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
The Promise of Bruce Springsteen
Black Hawk Down - Mark Bowden
John Adams - David McCullough
Alexander Hamilton - Ron Chernow
1776 - David McCullough
Truman - David McCullough
I went to the library and New England Comics today. Worthy trip to both, but I ended up not purchasing anything, unfortunately.
The Red Sox are on a roll (KOW), and France is doing very well in the World Cup (I know, how very un-American of me, rooting for France).
X-Men 3 was a lot better than I expected, and Superman Returns tommorow night, which I have high hopes for.
July 4th is quickly approaching,a nd I can't wait; definetly one of my top three holidays.
Kind of a pointless entry, but I like to check in with this thing every once in a while.
