This week has been AMAZING (and not so amazing) for 'Stoga.

First, the good: We seem to be winning and winning competitions this week.

First Wenesday Academic Comp kicked some butt at County Finals. Both Varsity and JV got first place - Varsity's going to states (AGAIN!) and I am soooooo proud.

Yesterday was Conestoga's second year at science olympiad and they got 3rd place. Congratulations all you scioly folks and I hope you all do AMAZING at States! I would have done scioly if I wasn't going to do sci fair (which unfortunately and sadly did not work out for me this year due to various reasons :/)

Today: 'Stoga Speech Team performed way beyond expectations today at Districts.
*Tony and Sam - 1st place duo
*Christina - 2nd place poetry
*Cathy Leee - 2nd place dramatic interp
*Bob Tavangar - 2nd place informatice speaking
I am SO proud. I wish I were there!

Also: Joyce made 5th chair 1st violin in All-Eastern Orchestra! I am SO proud of her.

Thanks to all the amazing coaches and hard working kids - great job everyone!

Now, for the bad: The racist graffiti. I don't know what to say though I did talk about it a lot in Lang and Spoke. I wish it would stop and all I know is that we need to take action. NOW

P.S.: On a yucky note, SATs next weekend - what more can I say. :/
