I'm back from Chicago and what a trip that was! We left at 8 AM on Sunday and I was Tiedge's navagator on the way there. That girl can speed. haha So we get there and we are staying in this little Howard Johnson Hotel that looks sketchy as hell. But it was cheap and it turned out alright. That day, we went down Michigan Ave for a while so the girls could shop. Then me and the Amys went to Sears Tower and looked down on the world from the top of the highest building in the US. It was pretty sweet. Although not as cool as the "top of the Rock" in NYC because we had to stay inside in Sears Tower and on the Rock we were outside on top of the building. Still fun though. Then that night we went to this pizza place and it was really good. I swear we walked about 5 miles that day. Our feet/legs were hurting bad. I also found 60 bucks on the floor of Walgreens that day and so I bought myself a new pair of Oakley sunglasses. In the hotel room, Aaron, Tiedge, Angelina and I had to share a room and the first night was spent basically laughing histerically at what Angelina was saying. I don't think I have laughed that much/hard in years. I was in tears and couldn't breath. haha
The next day we went to some PR Merchandise firm that Meg had an internship with this summer and learned about the communication field. That lasted most of the morning, then we had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted. Aaron, Tiedge, Angelina, Erin and Leslie and I went on the train to see Rigley Field then to the Navy Piere. We went on the farris wheel and that was pretty sweet. When they call Chicago the "windy city" they mean it. Then we went to Millenium Park and saw the big bean shaped mirror. That was awesome and took many pictures there. We were all pretty much exhausted after that, so we went back to the room after some more shopping on Michigan Ave. Dinner was at this Margarita Restaurant and the Mexican food was pretty good. Came back to the hotel and I was so tired that I justd laid in bed as some people played some card games. The next day we woke up early and made it back to campus by about 3 or 4. I don't think I have ever seen someone talk for five hours straight, but Angelina has done it. It was kinda annoying at times, but other times quite comical. But it was a good trip all in all.
Now its Friday night and I'm so glad we have a weekend already. Next week will be hell for me, so I have to get ready for it. I can't believe its already mid October!! This year is flying by like everything else does.
