Every once in a while something happens to me that I know is SO right. Like the way things should be, a natural equilibrium state. Well now I have a t-mobile sidekick (from which I currently write) and I feel like I'm one step closer. I have a reasonable approximation of the sum of human knowledge in my pocket. I'm one of Stephenson's gargoyles. I am Lain Aiwakura. The power is out in my house, and that can't stop me.
