plz do not hit "reply" or "reply all" to a listserv unless you're sure you want to email THE ENTIRE LISTSERV.
furthermore, if you receive an accidental reply all, please also do not reply all again to tell that one person they've made a mistake.
here's a simple way to figure out if you're doing it right:
does the "to:" box say a single person's address? if so, you're doing it right.
does the "to:" box say multiple addresses, or the address of the listserv itself? if so, you're doing it wrong, and i will shoot you in the face if you hit "send".
