Baby Bliss
Chapter 1:
“Bad mood, eh?” Ohno Satoshi, his band mate commented when he saw him enter the room. Jun looked at him then drops at the couch near him.
“I’m just tired” he said.
Ohno took a bottle of water then walks towards him “Here, take this. This will cool you down”
Jun didn’t say anything and just finished the bottle in one go. He’s been in a bad mood ever since he stepped inside the studio. His band mates had noticed this and they already know what to do when he’s in a bad mood and that is just to completely ignore him.
“Get ready for the next one” The director informed them, they’ve just finish taping one episode of shukudai and they’ll be doing another one “All of you would be busy with your schedules already so we need to do this”
“I’m sorry but...”
They all looked at Jun’s direction and saw him stands up and bows down “I think I’m going to be sick” he said.
Sho looks at Ohno as if telling him to help Jun on this one. During the taping it was really unusual of Jun to not participate with the activities and they all saw that.
“That’s OK” Ohno finally blurted out “We can handle the show, don’t worry.” Then he calls their manager informing him that Jun can’t do it anymore. After getting the go signal he then speaks with the director.
“You could go home now” Sho added.
“Is it really, ok?” He was hesitant.
Sho places his arm over Juns “Don’t worry about it. We’ll just let you know what happened here”
They all noticed that he’s been feeling uneasy and they know he just needed some rest right now.
After leaving the studio he immediately went back to his apartment. He carelessly drops his bag on the floor and threw his body on the bed. He doesn’t have the energy to move anymore.
He was tired.
He was frustrated.
He was angry.
Jun buries his head deeper on the mattress.
He just wants everything to stop Just stop.
Then suddenly he heard his phone ringing, he just let it ring and then it automatically switched to his voice mail.
“Jun...”
He heard a faint voice on the other line.
“Let’s talk....” the person on the other line stopped.
Jun threw a pillow over his head, not wanting to hear anymore of it.
“Jun...” He heard his name again “Don’t do this to me” the voice on the other line was already trembling. “Just say so if you don’t want me anymore” those where the last words that he heard when she finally ended the call.

Inoue Mao just ended the call. She wanted to have a word with him but he’s not willing to speak to her. She should be the one feeling stressed not him, she thought.
“You’re such a coward” she muttered under her breath.
She doesn’t have the courage to tell her mother yet. Not yet. She wasn’t ready. Mao drops on the floor. She wanted to cry but was afraid that her mother would hear her. She bites on her lip and places both of her hands on her face. “What have she done” she thought.
Earlier that day her manger called and arranged a meeting with her.
Akiko, her manager, took off her glasses when she reached her office “Female bonding?” she smiled at her and takes her seat
“I’ve just received an offer and guess what? You’ll paired with Jin, you know Jin of Kattun” she happily announced “You’re getting there Mao-chan” Akiko pats her head. “Another main lead for you. I can’t wait to see you on top” she dreamily said.
“Oh that’s good” she fakes a smile and took a sip of her coffee.
Akiko then talks about the details about the project that she’ll be doing. When she’ll sign the contract, the story and when she will meet her co-stars.
Actually she was really not paying attention to whatever Akiko was saying. She just bobs her head and smiles at her.
“Are you listening, Mao?” Finally Akiko realized that Mao’s been looking else where.
“Huh?” Mao looks at her.
“Huh?” Akiko imitates her.
“Yeah, Jin’s going to be my brother in the story, right?”
Akiko places a hand on her forehead “Are you sick, Mao?”
Mao sighs then took her hand off of her “I’m ok”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah” says Mao
“Jin’s going to be your lover, silly”
“What?”
“As what I’m saying” Akiko then continues “You’ll need to sign the contract in two days and after that they’ll provide you the script already. I know you can do it Mao. I trust you”
Mao looks down. She can’t take it anymore, she need to tell her already.
“I think it’ll take about two to three months for the drama to be finished”
Then suddenly she slams her hands on the table making Akiko stop and looks at her.
“No” she whispers.
Akiko was still surprised at what Mao did.
“No....” she repeated
“I can’t”
“Mao?” Akiko was getting nervous.
She lifts her head up “I’m sorry, Akiko”
“Why are you sorry?”
“I can’t do it” Mao gulps, her hands trembling, its now or never “I’m pregnant”
Chapter 2:
It’s been two weeks now since he last heard of Mao. She never tried to call him anymore and it’s making him furious. He was now holding his mobile thinking of giving her a call but then he quickly hides it inside his pocket. He’s been doing that for about five days thinking of calling her but then backing out on the on the last minute.
He just came back from the convenience store buying a couple of instant noodles. Unusually he’ll be the one to cook his food but right now he doesn’t have the appetite and just opted to eat instant noodles.
Jun stops in front of his apartment door and reaches for his key but then he felt his phone again.
“Why won’t you call me?” he whispers.
“Who should call you?”
Jun was startled when he heard someone behind his back.
“Where you there the whole time?” he slightly panicked.
“Nah!” Aiba waived his hand “So, who should call you?” he asks again.
Jun puts his hand inside his pockets and took out his key “No one” he said.
“You’re acting a little strange you know”
“Am not” he refuted then opens his door “Why are you here anyway?”
Aiba playfully pushes him and went inside his apartment “Aren’t you being a little harsh?”
Jun follows him as he walks around his place “It’s our off today, you should be resting”
He continues to looks around, ignoring Jun. Aiba stops then faces him “Mao’s not here?”
“She has her own apartment” Jun snapped.
He was taken a back at Jun’s response. “Hey take it easy”
“If you want to see her then go to her place” Jun crosses his arms “As if she’s living here with me. I’m not her keeper”
“Of course you are! You’ve been keeping her here for the past months” Aiba grins at him ‘so where is she?’
“I told you she’s not here” he yells at him.
“Don’t tell me they already found out....” he wasn’t able to continue because Jun again shouted at him.
“No! She decided to leave” Not wanting to talk anymore, Jun went to the kitchen to prepare his meal.
“I was expecting her to be here. She asked me yesterday if I’m free today” Aiba continues to blabber as he plops himself on the sofa.
Jun stops what he was doing when he heard what his friend said.
“Mao-chan said she wanted to go to the doctor.”
“Doctor?” Jun murmurs.
“I think for some check-up”
“Check-up?” then without another word from his friend he quickly dashed back to the living room and pins Aiba down. “What else did she tell you?” he asks while shaking him.
Aiba was surprised at Jun that he wasn’t able to react.
“What?”
“J-Jun! Do you want to kill me?”
Suddenly Aiba’s mobile started to ring. He pushes Jun off him and grabs his phone “Hello” he answers while taking a few steps away from Jun.
“Mao-chan”
Jun, hearing that it was Mao wanted to grab Aiba’s phone but Aiba stops him “Where are you?” he asks her.
“I’m already here” Mao said.
“Here, meaning where?”
“At my apartment” Mao laughs
“Oh okay, I’ll be there in fifteen minutes” then he hangs up. He was already planning to leave when Jun suddenly spoke.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
Aiba looks at Jun and saw him glaring at him “Don’t get the wrong idea”
“Why would she call you then?”
“We’re not going on a date. I’m accompanying her to the doctor” Aiba defended himself.
Jun hissed “If she wants to go to the doctor she’ll call me”
“Why didn’t she call you then?”
He shook his head, he doesn’t want to explain everything to him what was happening to them.
“Let’s go” without another word Jun grabs his wrist and drags him outside.
“You drive” he orders him as soon as they get inside Aiba’s car.
Aiba scratches his head “of course I’ll drive”
“I’ll just stay here while you get her” says Jun. He knows that she’ll not get inside the car if she finds out that he’s with Aiba.

The atmosphere was tensed. No one dared to talk.
It took a few minutes for Aiba to finally convince Mao to get inside the car. She panicked when she saw a familiar person sitting at the back of hi car.
“I don’t want to go anymore” she tugged at Aiba’s shirt.
“Eh?”
“I-I’ll just take a cab” she said but Aiba pushes her. They were already making a scene and it’ll cause her more trouble.
“So we’ll go to the veterinarian?” Aiba said breaking the silence.
Mao was sitting in front while Jun was still sitting at the back. She refused to sit beside him.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with him” Mao runs her hand over her dogs fur. “He’s not been eating for two days already”
“It sounds like you’re much more worried about your dogs health” Jun made a side remark.
Mao arches a brow “Why do you care?”
“Why ask Aiba to accompany you?”
Aiba, feeling that they’ll arguing again decided to stop them “Hey guys, calm down”
“Calm down?” Mao sarcastically said “How do you expect me to calm down when this guy’s been getting on my nerves”
“What?”
Aiba shakes his head. He doesn’t want to witness a lovers quarrel so early in the morning.
She looks behind her “You’re such an insensitive jerk!” she turns to Aiba “Stop the car!”
He obliges and steps on the brakes. Mao opens the car door and get out, still holding the poor puppy “I think you should bring your friend to the doctor instead” then slams the door.
“What’s happening here?”
Jun didn’t answer him and immediately goes out of the car. He runs after Mao and grabs her arm “Wait!”
Mao didn’t mind turning around. She was too furious. As much as possible she wants to get away from him. He really irks her.
She keeps on walking while he pulls her arm.
“Would you please talk to me?”
“Let me go!”
“Why should I? You didn’t even bother calling me back”
Jun then holds her shoulder “I was confused” he said.
Mao stops struggling from his grasp “I’ve made up my mind”
He looks at “Don’t tell me....”
“I don’t need your help. I’ll keep the baby”
“Baby?!”
They both turned their heads and saw a very shocked Aiba covering his mouth.
