WCOOPery
Playing the $109 8game WCOOP event today. Im liking the structure way more than the Razz event I played yesterday. The razz started with 5000 chips and levels at 20/40 or 40/80. By the end of the first hour we had lost one player from the entire tournament and nobody at my starting table was up or down more than 1500.
In contrast, the 8game started with 3000 chips and levels of 50/100, where you can actually do some damage. Speaking of do some damage, my table seems really tough and aggressive. People are 3betting all over the place, and nobody is doing anything glaringly stupid, as opposed to the complete idiocy of the razz.
The razz tournament felt like slowly getting punched to death by a retarded baby that looked like hitler. My equity is probably lower in this tournament, but the expected value of my mental health afterward is way higher.
26 minutes in at the time of this posting. 3428 in chips, which is near the lead for my table. Shortest has 1800. As always, all of the damage will probably be done in the big bet games, which we get to in 2 minutes.
EDIT: playing E, i just lost a big pot with aces and a 57 vs a guy rivering a wheel. Down to 2620. Hope they break this table.
