45 days and less and gone... to be married
Some of my older friends might remember the countdown to my birthday from 2000 or so? Or maybe not? No-one from back then probably reads this journal anymore. No suspense this time, no drama, because I will likely have no internet before the end...
In 45 days I leave for Australia. Once there I will have no Internet, no television, no familiar sights and I will be married four months after I arrive. I won't be announcing anything further here, or posting wedding photographs, or updating this LJ for many years after the wedding - no Internet connection. I have a private journal elsewhere I'll be updating via my mobile phone - short posts, but longer than twitter. You can message me or e-mail me; if you want to read said journal and I'll send you the URL.
Just make your request before Verizon turns off the Internet connection here in the States: August 22 or thenabouts.
