Bah! Humbug.
I'm sick. And cranky.
I don't like being sick. I normally do fine and just push through it, but right now I'm feeling really knocked out. UGH.
And I have shit tons to do at work before I take next week off.
So that's stressing me out even more.
Neither Jim nor I are in the holiday mood this year.
With all that's going on-the gallery, the gothspring, my work, my grandfather's health etc, we're just not "there"
Plus, since we're going to be in LA for Christmas, Jim felt there was no reason to decorate.
Oh well.
We did have a good day yesterday. Got a lot of stuff done.
Finished painting the gothspring's room. Jim and I are reclaiming it now that she's gone.
I made a TASTY sweet potato pie with cinnamon meringue. Om nom nom.
and we had movie day yesterday too. Finally saw Harry Potter. I thought it was just ok. I mean, I've read the books and I know what is still to come. It certainly felt a lot like a transition movie until we can get to the rest of the story in the final movie.
Jim liked it.
Then we ended the night with a screening of Raging Bull at the NWFilm Forum. I've never seen it and wanted to wait until I could see it on the big screen.
Was a very good film
Well, I called in sick to work today but I may pump myself full of Dayquil and get my butt in for a few hours at least.
