So, if you're looking for a weeping maudlin Sho with a lot of cuteness this is it, if you're looking for a weeping maudlin Sho with legal terms involved then you should watch Tokuyo Kabachi! LOL

Grown up, now forget about that

The reasons

Well, since this is old, then, I'll be biased and tell you the truth, lately I've been in a Sho-fase, meaning falling hopelessly in love for the Keio boy. And that was the main reason to watch this. Honestly I didn't have my hopes high before being this interested in Sakurai; and I would have never thought about putting myself through this. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this dorama. In this the Arashi boy was really young and you can also perceive this in his acting, but it is a good thing also, he didn't fully reach the amount of annoyance that was able to portray in TK!

See really cute and kawaii

The plot

Well, this is a very short dorama, just 9 episodes, and the plot is really simple with not much drama involved. He is one of the few men who wants to become a male nursery school teacher. So, the story starts with his struggle in this totally female-dominated world. At Himawari Nursery School he covers for a teacher on maternity leave.
So, we get to see a bunch of gossiping female teachers who love to make Taiyo's experience impossible. Or rather, they just take advantage of him, which is really funny, or funnier than Sho being bullied at his workplace by big man in TK!

Minako sensei, she is the only one who doesn't take advantage

The kids

Suzuki Taiyo really enjoys his job and what he says it's his calling. And rather to prove being a skilfully teacher he is a very enthusiastic and childish ally, hence the title. But the kids are the real show here, I mean they really look authentic and normal in a good way. The stories present us a particular kid experience and how important this daycare center is for them. They practically live there, but as usually they are presented as understanding kids used to that situation.
The Rose class, Taiyo's one, has around 20 pre-school kids, which are adorable. They embrace the authenticy and naiveness of Taiyo sensei while enjoying his energy exhibition.

Sorry about the quality, some are made by me

The sensei

The other teachers always seem to be looking into the Bara class, so I kind of wonder who was taking care of the rest of the kids? But Minako sensei, the newbie teacher that takes care of Bara class with Taiyo was super cute as well, she is Fukiishi Kazue and have worked with many Arashi members right? Then we have the woman in charge of the teachers, Shizuka sensei, she looks strict at the beginning but as the time passes we can see her passion for the kids as well. Matsushima Nahomi the woman who did Himitsu with Arashi is a sensei also, she is funny, but I don't recall watching her along with kids.

I wanted to become a pre-school teacher who by just being together, they would become happy.
their hearts would become warm
I want to become that kind of teacher.
I wanto to be the sun(Taiyo) in their hearts.
Taiyo sensei

Sho

Then what is the point to watch this? Well, Sakurai's character is really a goody-goody one, but not so exhasperating as in TK!, he has goals and ideals but more real, and I like the way he looks into the camera to complain. At least he realizes about what is going on, and he does cry a lot but is not that exagerated as in TK!. *Yes I highly dislike his character in that dorama!*

How cute he was!

A plus and my marks

The plus is the cameos, we can see a little about Aiba, about which character was he playing I'm not sure, but was a father to be, really cute.

Aiba-chan!

Then we have a delicious appeareance of Riida in his character very like the one in Pikanchi, I think, he is just precious. ( ・◇・)

Cute Satoshi is cute!!! I love the end when Sho says Ohno is an absolute stranger

And finally Kuma and Shin, I know Shin! \(◦’⌣’◦)/ plus he talks about Yankumi which was ♥ ♥

Shin!!

These kids met the coolest guys! LOL

Another plus is the ending is Tomadoinagara from Arashi, which is a great song, and fits this dorama perfectly! but again like in Bittersweet the PV is just disappointing, right?

So, all in all my marks, I know I'm totally biased in the review, so, I'll get realistic at the end. The dorama is old, the quality is not that good, the music is not that good either, but the inserted song wasn't bad. About the places, this is supposed to be Tokyo ,right? but looks so towny? lol, it's like a nice place to live. Sakurai runs a lot, but it's not that annoying as in TK!, maybe it's because I don't want to become a lawyer. The secondary characters are also not that flat, they look almost like real people. The kids are adorable; and there are a lot of them, but in the final episode I could recall all the introduced ones. The sceneries were good, a tiny grey, but that again maybe is because of the oldie issue. The daycare center is adorable, I took notes about the decoration, the kids's drawings seem a little unreal and made by one only person, but I'll let that pass. And we get to see Sho's drawings! those looked authentic LOL
Then, my marks? It's 3 and a half, because all my love goes because of my calling, and taking that out, we have a really young acting from Sho, very simple and not deep stories with an even simpler resolution at the end.

The real deal

To me this is 4 stars

And my real reasons into liking this very much, it's the fact that I want to become a teacher myself! I already said it, it's like Taiyo with ojiichan sensei. The first time I heard about Taiyo sensei was in the Iza Now MC fancam for Matsumoto birthday; when the guys give him their gifts, and some random kid keep crying Taiyoooo sensei!!! And Sakurai was super patient with him, I cannot say the same thing from Jun, lol. But after that I didn't want to see it, specially not after seeing TK; but then something happen, I realize how incredible cute is to watch chibi Arashi specially Sho, and I recall about this! So, thanks to Stormy Team I was able to fall in love with Taiyo and his calling, 'cause at the end of the day is mine too! I cry, yes I cry a lot with this, it's just about seeing chibi kids with their problems and sensibility what just moves me ಥ_ಥ

This is me crying! The pass is Sho's character name (Taiyo) and I know it's a bit of a spoiler but it always makes me cry

So, this maybe is something cheesy at some point but if you like this job as much as I like, then you'll love this. After this I thought that even if I spend all my day in that place I would be happy... ~ o(^▽^)o Taiyo hardly had some rest!

Do you find something familiar??!! Iiine... You really have grown up Sakurai Sho

Anyway I'm blabling again, in other news I fall completely in love with Sho's christmas song! it's soooooooo cute!!! I want to translate it (* ・´з)(ε`・ *)chu♪
Waa I'm late with Choco Jun, sorry no new gifs!
