Last spurt!!!!!! waa I can't believe it! So in order to celebrate my almost over freedom, this week I want to post a couple of reviews that I have piling up for a while, or recently...(>_< )
Ok, I think I'll try to make some sort of a review from this, it is
I don't like this image, there's something weird about it maybe the hair! the proportions maybe?

First about my reasons
What were the reasons that got me into this? Well I was looking for something new, and actually Keiko! hahaha But I got to finish this before many others, the reason, well as it follows.
Sometimes I just feel like watching something effortlessly, like something I know I don't even need to make an effort to think 'cause they tell me exactly what's going on...well where to start?
First the actors, my first Yamapi dorama? er... mistake! It's my second, I did watch Stand Up!! But I really don't remember him, I mean, who was him? So he was the annoying guy that I've never believed was in love with Susuki-chan? Yes, I think so.
Here Kenken, I didn't remember this at first
I coudln't avoid Nino! Look at him Yamapi! It's so subtle the way he works all about his face!
Anyway he grew up, to become this basketball player (~o~)
Yes, there is no sense in his hair, but I'll ignore that.
Well I like basketball, really, but I was almost all the time thinking about he was acting like a player instead of playing it.
Keiko with the violin
About the plot
The girl is Keiko, I like her, in here she is a violinist, but again all the time she was "playing" I was thinking about Komikado sensei and how he put some DVD and pretend to be playing lol, gomen Riko! I don't see you really playing!
And there are a bunch of other characters, the girlfriend, the wannabe-boyfriend and the whole team. But leaving music and basketball aside this is a romantic story, and apparently has many followers, but I don't quite understand why. I mean it's ok, there are kisses and hugs and other stuff, but doesn't make it credible! Come on, I found out many other stories so much more romantic and without a kiss. And I'm not just talking about Japanese market, just in order to give an example Pride and Prejudice, that is a romantic story and we don't need any kiss!!
The girlfriend
This actress plays the little sister
Keiko's friend
Naoki's friend
They are in the same bus
Running after the bus lol he forgot his cell
The wannabe boyfriend/coach
This guy that wants Naoki's girl or how I like to call him, are you really a basketball player??
Well I'm rambling again, but getting back to buzzer beat, well I like it when you get to know the meaning of the name while watching it, it kind of gives the plot and even the ending away in this one, but it's a very obvious plot, so, buzzer beat.
So, the good and the bad things, one of each for balance and for my entertainment d=(^o^)=b
The good, the bad and the expressionless
The first obvious bad thing: Yamapi, lol, sorry Yamapi, it did take me some time to realize this, though, like in the second episode. I was giving you a shot! But no, your acting is just a big no, when I get used to the fact that your face is not indicating what is going on, and that I just should believe what you're saying, that's when I found this dorama going somewhere. A good thing Reiko-chan, she was younger and I like her with no make up on, she cries a lot, and he just stares a lot.. what was his name...Naoki, right! Well we are all expecting this two to fall in love, so it is a nice thing she can accomplish that. They actually look good together, they have chemistry and you can see that right from the beginning when they are just friends and that is a plus. ( ^.^)
She's cute
She knows when to calle him baka!
A bad thing: his chest, I mean I guess a part of this dorama appealing was showing us a bunch of not-basketball-players changing, aka no shirts, but after they point out that he had more breast that his girlfriend, and I agreed with them, well let's say I've just spent the rest of the dorama asking for him to keep his shirt on, please Yamapi, don't show us that! His chest doesn't look real, and that is a bad thing! A good thing... I don't know maybe the variety between music and sports, and how they could talk to each other, the leading roles, and everything was new for them. But again is part of their chemistry... Maybe ... no I give up, it is hard to find good points.(*_*)
She becomes her N°1 fan
He teaches her about basketball
They are just friends
He carries her home
Is not like this is terrible, I mean, *I can't believe this was a getsuku* but it is quite a cliche, and there aren't enough triangle or squares standing to support how Yamapi can't tell us who is he in love with. And I was totally on the girlfriend's side after watching the kind of kiss he gave her! It was almost disgusting! And another negative thing, he is such a goody character, is like he is doing everything in order to tell us how good he is. Stop it!!!
Yamapi asking his girlfriend to marry him
Yamapi meeting his first fan
Yamapi discovering a very awful thing his girlfriend is doing
Yamapi being called baka in the middle of a play
Yamapi feeling sorry
Yamapi being chased by his fan
Yamapi feeling love
Yamapi choosing a girl
But let's stay away from the obvious, like the horrible printing wall that keeps bothering me with the legend 'Love makes you stronger' like it was an imposition! And let's be honest here, it is watchable, I was kind of curious at the beginning about the development, but once I realize what to expect I just plainly watched it. I believe Keiko was in love, and I kind of enjoy her interactions with her friend, and her story also. They were kind of cute. Naoki's family also have potential. But the team, I'm sorry but you are not playing basketball guys!! Maybe the director failed to show that to us, the dynamic of the game, or maybe I watched too many NBA playoffs. (*^o^) seriously just one would be enough!
Ok after all he is kind of cute
And their love is cute
About the result
But, all in all, it has its big inconsistencies and you can see that right from the start *yes I mean the bus scene* but it is watchable and you can see a cute romance with kisses and angst scenes, and when you think this could be a good way to think about the differences between choosing a career path or love, everything ends up in a buzzer beat!
Make an effort to show us this is the end!!! and not the beginning ot the midle, 'cause it's the same face!!(~_~;)
About my marks
My scores, 3 stars out of 5, and a semi wink lol I haven't found that, but this states a record, like I would have to find a very very good reason before watching another Yamapi's acting q(^-^q) *hehe I found another one, but this time you better keep your shirt one Yamapi, you hear me!!*
And you should at least watch Stand up again Yamapi! Look at this guy face!
The end! Jaa ne
