Some sort of Chuuuu!
So, here I am, finally I can enjoy my break from study! So glad I end up with nothing to study during this vacation! yeahhh, it was like a miracle! I'm happy about that, so, I'm planning doing a couple of reviews left behind since I didn't have the time. But I like to review what I feel like, sooo, I switched the subject and end up with this!
Well, for some reason I like doing caps, and for some reason I never know when to stop! yeah, so this is a cap review... maa sort of... Let's start, shall we?
So, remember my obsession about nails in Nazodi?
Yes, it's her, name... Keiko Kitagawa, here a student, not so brilliant one, but she tries really hard
Paradise Kiss, based on the manga of the same name, I didn't watch neither the manga or the anime, maybe they are not my style...sort of
And here we have the guy from Hanakimi and from Ouran! I'm not that fond to him though lol He is her first love
this is Arashi, I'm even less fond to him! So, he's part of this very particular sort of group, fashion group that is looking for a model for a contest to wear their dress
And I don't remember her name, but she/he is so tall Ah and apparently models don't have a height requirement in Japan? Keiko is not this tall!
Now, I didn't recognize this girl at first because of the hair, but she is the one that keep saying Caroline! A bit annoying
At last! some attitude, I like that, she has that...thing
Now, look at those shoes and those heels!
Osamu Mukai relly cute guy, why lipstick, I never get that! The designer..
And his fashion is really something, that's why this cap lol
And here she tries to hide, I wonder how old she is...she was around 25 when doing this role, no wonder that she doesn't look 16, but she doesn't look that old either
He looks much older than her... let's see his age...he is 4 years older, so around 29, the 'Caroline' girl was 20 really younger than them
I like when she is spoiled
Sometimes she does that, like she is really childish and why did you get in the car in first place?
She is taken to this college? when people is free to not wear bra or panties!
Now here he is the one that will teach her the things she doesn't know
And at the same time he will give a her a make over in order to become a model
Next day, it's Isabella looking for her, now I remembered her name
She is still trying to hide her, make up your mind! You want to be a model or not!
Yellow? really, but I like how close he gets, funny
So, the thing is when they don't go to look for her, she comes to them!
Oww she becomes his muse, I liked this dress, but the lower part looked like a cortain
Now, here he is really being convincing in order to make her his model
But she is not just another girl for him or her mother what? lol
Finally she decides that being a model is something that she wants to do
And when this girl decides something, she takes to the end, so she decides to leave her mom
what about those clothes, but blue looks good in him!
Here is his appartment, nice, he is a rich boy
I loved this phrase!
Of course he also finds her a job as a model, isn't he handsome?
And well she is so 'I can't do this' and he is like 'You can!' and...
By the end of the day, tada! moderu!

a butterfly ring...blue...is it cute or too big?

Now, next what happens always, the guy you really like is helping you to pick a dress for a date with the guy you used to like
And then, he does your make up...
Yeah he did a great job hahha, now into the teaching
he really tries to make her believe in herself

So, the years passed and she became an international model..
I'm totally copying this hair style!
And she travels to NY
but, will she be able to meet him again? nice heels!
waa so cute, I don't know when I see this face is like he can be the nice guy too

Now, to end up, it's like, this is a very entertaining movie, the music is great and the images, I mean the camera moving and how it shows the city from above... I mean it does totally look like a Hollywood movie, maybe the first cap tells us something, but it's like there is something missing.
I mean is like there are a bunch of things that keeps making us forgetting about the fact that this happens in Japan to Japanese people, but then it just looks shallow, and well the end is pretty much like every Ikuta Toma movie/special/other-thing I've seen. It looks unfinished because the story is not entirely Japanese and not entirely from Hollywood, so, maybe I should have looked into the manga to see how much distortion was introduced. It's just like I really liked at first but while doing the caps I really missed her being more ... I don't know...
And about the scene when she walks in the runway, I mean, maybe it was too much forced, I mean I've seen that scene so many times in USA's movies, but better, and this time, well if you are involved in the movie is fine...but I've definitely have seen better ones, even though she used to be a model.
Maa I liked it, but even though I keep complaining about more down to earth stories like Pikanchi or Kiiroi Namida where you are expecting that moment and it never happens, well I think I prefer that, it looks more real. Like in Bambino, even though is the one I like the least out of Matsujun doramas, I think the teaching is pretty good, like the lesson is not whether you became the best of not, even in Bambino there is no moment when you can say this guy is really a genius, but it is about the road, about the way and how hard you try and how much you enjoy in that way...
Well, maybe this is a last moment reflexion, but it's my last impression. But, don't get me wrong, it's a nice movie, well done, not boring at all, and even if the chemistry is not that great, it's fun to see them together.
At the end 3 stars, because like I said, it has great points in favour
and a lovely face, 'cause Mukai-kun is gorgeous, I would love to see him in something more serious.
