So, I started this draft on 19 January, LOL! time did pass! Anyways, I was thinking about how I was going to do this, but ... I just figured that I should go and use the draft, tbh it was the title, so let's go with this song~
It was ready back then!! But I had so many songs on my pending list, the new one, no the impossible one... and I wanted to check it and translate as many as possible, and I fell in love with so many songs, that this is the result, I'll be trying to post one each day and finish the couple I'm still missing. I was struggling with a Kattun song, it was so hard to blend into sense ... either way, this is now the one I'm posting, yes...

I'm not even kidding when I say I'm out of focus, I went to look for the tweet, and took me a WHILE, but let's finish this because I need to go to sleep, tomorrow is going to be a long day, either way, let's see. This is one of the unit songs, I liked it a LOT, since the first listening, so here it is, I think I haven't heard this trio before, or focus so much on their vocals, except for Date-san, I like his vocals and usually, I pay attention to his part. [T/N]: There's none! I'm just kidding but I don't have time, I remember liking this song, and the sound, and later when I watched the video, is such a nice, aesthetic MV, and it's perfect. About their singing, I loved all three of them, Date-sama sounds so much like Kattun, lol, he made his part of the song sound like a Kattun song for me at least. Abe-chan is great, but Sakuma is amazing, his falsetto, he's definitely the highlight in terms of singing, the beautiful bridge is his, and it's so beautiful in terms of music and also lyrics. I love this song and the overall meaning 'cause it's about moving forward despite feeling trapped like you can color your life and become free.
- In terms of notes on the actual translation, let's see, it was hard to blend some parts, that's the reason for the added tiny part between parentheses and I used the brackets for the part that it's sung in one way but means a slightly different thing, this is super common in Japanese lyrics, and it's always a detail I like to point out. In this song, this happens with the word for tone, but it's sung as sound, 音色 (neiro): tone color; tone quality; timbre/ おと (oto): sound. It's so beautiful how the timbre is also something like tone color, so that's so relatable to the song!
Also with 旋律 (senritsu): melody; tune/ リズム (rizumu): rhythm
There are two more, but, they are super subtle...
物語 (monogatari): story/ ストーリー: story; it's basically the English equivalent and a similar one but in Japanese with 自分 (jibun): myself (the reflexive noun) / ぼく (boku) : I, me.
- I had to adapt some English parts, for continuity, I'm sorry if that doesn't suit the purpose, and I'm so sorry about the spelling mistake in the video!! I did that video like a lot, a lot of times!! and just now, I noticed the mistake, but ignore it, please~
I think that's it, the lyrics are really meaningful and I love all the color-related concept very much.

They made a sort of a comment on YT about all three MVs for unit songs, and the comments for this trio were: it's a mature dance, with a fantastic theme for the MV, Sakuma's nice falsetto. The traffic light sort of color, LOL, this was mentioned by Saku-chan, Abe-chan with blue sort of extensions, Date-sama was blond and Saku-chan was pink. They were under the sea.
