Canon - NEWS & Keiichiro entry
Hello~ I'm here for a minute, barely, I really don't have time, but I saw Milk! just after finishing this translation, which is one of my fave songs from NEWS's new album, let's go~
So, here we go, I've been listening to new songs, but this time it's the turn of a NEWS' new album's song... my English! lol...well, lately I'm back to teaching English, at school, just a couple of hours though, maybe that's partly why I don't really have time to be around here... btw, and this out of topic, last class, I had my first real experience with my students having a physical fight, like for real, I didn't know what to do!! They fought about the stupidest thing, or that was their excuse, like taking some other classmate's beanie or something like that... it was scary!

So, I haven't read much about this album, again no-time excuse, it's getting boring on my part, but, why pick this song? Well, I just loved it after first listening, the same old excuse again, lol, but I'm sick, I got the flu I guess, I lost my voice after forcing it to come out yesterday, and now, I'm listening to Canon, to figure out the reason, so, let's think, first they sound amazing, especially Shige, and there was this phrase coming from Massu, which was about having hope, I think, and Kei-chan also sounds great. Another, this composer/lyricist is the perfect match for NEWS, you put them together and the result it's a great song. What else, it's super short, plus let's read the message because it's amazing~ and I'm missing Summer, I'm on the opposite season lol, here we go~ got kanji from here, and sorry about the mistakes!

[T/N]: Well, more than notes, I think I have a couple of comments regarding the lyrics, first, I love the music, I just love it. Second, the title, the definition would be (A generally accepted principle; a rule.), or a body of the most important, influential, or superior works in music, literature, or art. I like the "principle" one, like keep dreaming would be the message, I think.
Now, on the chorus, I think, it says something like "natsu ga sugite yume wa samete", "The Summer has passed and the dream woke up", right? but in Japanese, it's the same sound for "Summer has passed and the dream has cooled off" which I kind of find like a more meaningful (?) sort of meaning for the whole song, could it be? I just was listening to it and thought about that. But the kanji I found everywhere is "waking up".
And that's it... I think, and overall, I loved this meaning, like in the lyrics it is also mentioned the "youthful days", like the season of Summer might be ending like in your life, but that doesn't mean you can't keep walking towards your dreams, don't let them cool off, I mean let them wake up! XD
And that's it! About the album, I love every song, I love the effect in music, because I know it's related to the whole theme of the album, I love the spoken interludes, it's so NEWS' style. We can find a total of 8 songs from singles! that's a lot! I think it's the highest number I can remember for a Johnny's album, that's strange, I think, but I love all the singles, so it's a sure thing that I love most of the album.
TRIAD is really nice, well, I love this one (Canon), Polyrhythm sounds so much like a NEWS song hahaha, no wonder it's from the same lyricist as Canon! On a side note, I ended up loving Sanjuushi so much!! I love the whole version, it just grew so much on me! Pink moon it's a ballad that I'm not crazy about, but I love everything about KMK the boys rock you all! Now, I know ballads grow slowly in my heart, but Hashire Melos no you ni was so lovely and meaningful, I just loved it. And I don't dislike Coda, it's a very cute song, could you guess it? it's from the same lyricist as Canon, it makes you want to clap. Now, on the solos, Refrain for Kei-chan, I think I like more his previous solo, which I was intending to translate after I couldn't do it for my fave solo from STORY because you know the reasons... anyway, but it's not bad. XXX means kiss kiss kiss? lol, well, it's not my fave song, I think it's just not my style, that's all. And Agitato, well, I haven't looked into the lyrics, but it's a sensei's song, I'm sure it's worth taking a look at, I think it's my fave from the solos. I really enjoy Shige's low voice and he kind of recites parts of it. Well, Shige-chan never disappoints in his solos :D

Osaka this weekend!
As I was getting ready to go to Osaka, Milk was on top of my carry-on case, telling me not to go. So cute. "Stay at home!!" I'm relieved that my mother will come to take care of her!
Well, we're going to smash it in Osaka too!

I think it's a great album, I was able to totally feel their essence and it feels like a NEWS album all the way. I knew I would love the album, half of it is single songs I love so much.
