I'm not so knowledgeable regarding West, but lately, I've been liking their music more and more, especially since Shouko's single. And then recently they released rainboW, and I've found that I like many songs from it.



I think I've already mentioned my favorite songs from the album, but this one called my attention from the first listening, and I'm not that easily convinced lol, actually I couldn't finish DOKODA, gomen! but they really make me remember Eito in many of the songs, even their voices sound similar in songs that are more upbeat, or at least that's my impression as a sort of a new fan.



So, I promise, I didn't know this was a Kami-chan's song, I love translating member's songs, but usually, I just listen to the song, and later if I like it, I look deeper into the lyrics, and this was the order when I found out this was written by Kami-chan, his voice is usually my favorite among West's voices.
After all this, I got kanji from here, and I'm sorry about my mistakes, and all, but I chose this song because it's an encouraging song, not the usual type though, it's ... you'll see

[T|N]: So, let's go into the notes~

- First, the title of the song, is it Good Afternoon, right?! lol, it is all over the lyrics so, I guess that's the time of the day when you need like a little push on the back to keep going~

- This is like one stanza for each case, like you could feel identified by the different situations that are shown. I guess the housewife is such a commonly portrayed role in doramas that it's actually kind of common? it wasn't my reality at all while growing up btw, in my case my dad was the one staying home taking care of us, so I don't feel it so much, lol and I'm nothing close to a housewife, but Kami-chan you should watch Tachon's dorama! Which, btw, I enjoyed it a lot, it was a nice dorama! this has nothing to do here!

- Family restaurant, I used simply 'a dinner' because, well, it's a very culture-attached word. It's like a place where you would go to have a casual dinner.

- And last but not least, I love all the emojis lol, all over the lyrics, or whatever they are called, and during the song, the members even make the sound of sleeping for one of the last stanzas in which our protagonist falls asleep as soon they reach the bed. Ganbare you!!

Overall, I like the upbeat feeling and it does sort of give me a little push in the back to move forward, to hang in there~ Thanks Kami-chan!



So, do check this album if you can, or the MV of Rainbow Chaser on YT, it's really good. I really like the solos too, I'm not sure if it's something they used to do, it's uncommon in groups with so many members as them, but I'm sure it was something great for the fans. Ryusei's solo sounds so much like another song, I don't know, it gives me this impression, haha, but I can't tell which!

And I'm a little tired, there's a video I want to scan because I wanted to sub it!! but I'll just stop this insane behavior lol
